Street Fighter Alpha 3

SFZ3 is definitly a worth sequal of SFZ2 (Alpha in the US).
I'll tell why it's the number two fighting game of all time.
If your wondering what *I* think the number one is, well
it's SF33SFFTF (Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike Fight for the Future).
OK, onto the review of the SATURN version of SFZ3 with the
4mb RAM cart.
Graphics: 9/10
-The characters look great, period. The backgrounds look
very good too, but they could have had a little more
'activity' in them. The effects are very well done, also.
If the backgrounds would have had more activity in a few of
them I'd give it a 10. But they did have a lot of backgrounds.
Oh well, I'm GIVIN IT A 9!
Sound: 10/10
-I just loved the sound in this game, not as much as
SF33SFFTF, but it was real dang good. Everything from the
effects to the background music is very crisp. What can I
say? Capcom knows thier stuff.
Control: 10/10
-I'll sum it up in one word ... PERFECT.
Gameplay: 10/10
-Wow, I mean um ... Wow. Not the Wow that you'll get from
SF33SFFTF, BUT it's as close as THAT will come. In SFZ3 you
have the option of picking your style before the game.
X-ISM, Z-ISM, V-ISM (I don't know the US names, I THINK
Z-ISM was changed to A-ISM but I'm not sure) Anyway, the
X-ISM is you get one big super, Z-ISM is you get three
level's of bar, and V-ISM is a custom combo bar. Other than
the new ISM features which have their own styles such as air
blocking, ect which also makes it more challenging, it's
classic Zero series style of moves and such. There are (I
think) 36 total characters in the Saturn version which
really gives players opportunity's for a ton of different
possible stratagies and matchup's ! In the Dreamcast version
you can play on-line (I love you Capcom). But the Saturn has
the same stuff as the PSX version does mode wise. Arcade,
versus, ECT.
Story: 10/10
-Um, I've only beaten the game for DAN, and I liked his
story so it's gets a 10/10! ^_^
Overall: 10/10
-This is the second best fighter next to SF33SFFTF. It has
great graphics, sound, control, and particuarly gameplay. I
mean this is a MUST HAVE for a fighting fan.
