First of all, if theres a spot where you have a hard time getting to and
theres a Jumping Block, (Like a trampoline!) Just keep on shooting your
magic (Makes you run like crazy!) and jump at the weird block (without
releasing the direction you held to walk/run!) and you should get to those
hard to reach platforms!
