When you beat each year it moves on to next year. When you beat each 
track it shows your driver climb out of his car and stand on the car 
with his arms in the air and no face on his head. They didn't put faces 
in these end scenes, although it would have been nice. Just finishing 
or starting a track let's you see the newspaper with info about who 
won/who won pole position and about your driver in the headlines.
