For a home run every time at bat, hit and hold L, R, and Z. Then on
the controller (not the analog stick) hit left-up-left-up quickly. you
should hear a noise of confirmation. If you hit a ball that would be in
fair play, its an automatic home-run! Even if you bunt it goes over,
and I got a hit that was 1127 feet!

While batting on Rookie, get as close as you can to the plate then hold
down the down C button (which is to bunt) before the pitch is thrown.
While doing this hold down the left button so that the ball will go down
the left field line. The pitcher will pick up the ball and throw it to first
but don't worry, chances are you will make it safely. All you have to do
is hold down B while running to first which will make dive. Most of the
time you will succeed but don't expect to every time. This is good play
when you are in need of a base hit. Make sure not to do this while the
bases are loaded because the pitcher will throw it home and get him out.

If you feel the ball is going over the Green Monster run toward the fence
and press A, A, A, B, B, Up (on D-pad), B, B, B, A. You will then jump the
Green Monster. After about 5 seconds you will appear on top of the
Green Monster carrying the ball and waving your hands.

After you hit a homerun, except in Homerun Derby, you can produce sounds
by hitting any C button. Each C button makes a different noise. Some
sounds may be either airhorns, cheers, etc.

When you come up to bat, when standing in the batters box hold the
analog stick diagonally up and to the left and press the B button to hit
the ball. If your position is correct you will hit a homerun most of the time.
