- No faults, perfect fix.This product works great! I can not find any cons at all.Though it is meant to reinforce it works just as well to turn a break into one solid pedal again. My pedal had a very low crack, and this was a quick fix.
The included instructions recommend simply using a screwdriver so as not to strip the screws with a drill. Though if you know how to handle a drill then you should be just fine.
The screws are not flush, but I don't find that a problem at all, since the metal itself is studded as you can tell from the pictures.If you think it's going to bother you or feel akward while playing then go with the flatter smoother option. If you play with shoes on, or don't think you'll mind the tiny bumps then this is the one for you.
