Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good Item, not without it's problems.
This item is very cool. So far it works perfectly, except one of the controllers A button is messed up after only a few days use. It now acts as if it were a turbo button, even when playing SNES games. I remember reading somewhere that the controllers are not the greatest, so I am not upset. I cleaned up my old SNES controller and will be using that from now on.
From what I understand, these systems are hit or miss, so don't be pissed if something goes wrong. Some people's have broken in a few weeks, other have had their's for over a year now with no problems. So I guess, buyer beware.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Its a piece of garbage!!!
The FC Twin is a piece of trash. When you first buy it and take it home and start playing games, it seems awesome. It plays them all perfectly with a minimum of blowing on and adjusting the games. But conveniently, as soon as the system is about two weeks old, it stops working. I notice most of the folks reviewing the FC Twin have only had the console for two weeks or less, so they don't yet know the truth. The card reader just stops reading the games and all you get is a blank screen. The problem is far worse with the NES slot than it is with the SNES slot. Mine is not just a rare faulty console either because I have purchased two consoles and both did exactly the same thing, they worked great for two weeks and then stopped working conveniently right when it became too late to send them back for a refund. Oddly enough, two of my games still work in my FC Twin, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, and Wheel of Fortune, but none of my other NES games do (and I have over a hundred games). I have no idea whats so special about these two games, but I guess if they're the only two NES games you own, then the FC Twin is perfect for you. But if you own any others, forget about it. Its an utterly useless ripoff.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Works great...but with flaws
The first two weeks I had this system, it worked and had absolutely no problems with it. But now after I play a SNES game for longer then 5 minutes the whole screen turns yellow and wont go back to normal. I tried looking on the internet to see if anyone else had this problem but I couldnt find anything. Oh well, at least the NES side works fine...for now.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - GREAT SELLER!!!
When i ordered my FC Twin... i had many questions about it. So i emailed them and they responded in no later than a day!! IT SHIPS VERY FAST!!! I GOT IN 3 DAYS from when it was shipped. Well its a GREAT product. So i highly recomend this seller to you.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect product
I am another one who still enjoys the NES and SNES classics. I had an original SNES console that I bought used for a few bucks, but it eventually stopped working for good. I also had a YOBO console that played original NES games, but it was cheaply made and you had to use a clunky converter that would not sit well in the slot, thus killing a game in progress. It also stopped functioning and I got rid of that as well. I did not want to pay top dollar for used and old SNES and NES consoles that could break at anytime, so I shelved my old games.

I Then saw an ad for something called the "FC Twin" a few months back. I thought it was fake, since I wondered how in the world can a console play two different types and sizes of carts? Plus there are lots of prototypes of off the wall consoles floating around on the 'net, so my skepticism remained. I then did some research, and lo and behold, it was real and surprisingly on Ebay for an astonishingly low price. I picked one up for $50 and it works like a charm.

I also like the fact that it uses RCA cables instead of the old RF connectors. As mentioned by other reviewers, you can hook this up to your big screen and really enjoy your old games in larger than life form. The easy to use switch that lets you go back and forth between the NES and SNES games is very handy, and the small compact size makes it very easy for storage and travel. Nice comfortable controllers as well.

So if you are looking to revive your old classic Nintendo titles and don't want to pay an arm and a leg for the original consoles, this system is for you.
