First I'll say that it was a lot of fun to play. People complain about the hand to hand combat thing, but once you get to free play you can always pick Willie as a character and scream your enemies to death if you really don't like it. Or cheat like everyone else and use the invincibility code. :) I only gave it 4 stars since I am automatically going compare it to the Star Wars version...just like everyone else. The Star Wars versions took me DAYS to beat, but Indiana Jones was much simpler. There was only a couple times that I got stuck. It is about the same caliber as the Star Wars Complete Saga as far as difficulty and needing to figure puzzles out. I would definitely recommend hocking up the money for it but expect "Complete Saga" rather than the full versions of Star Wars for comparison.

This is a great family game, which is nice, since there are few choices for yougsters. My wife and I have play this with our son, who is 6. He also plays it by himself. The game is pretty easy to play and has all the great John Williams music. It's nice that the game can be played in story mode and played again in free mode to solve other challenges.

This is a great game. It's suitable for all ages, even adults. The game has excellent level design; it's challenging enough to be fun but not frustrating. The graphics are as good as they can be an still be recognizably Lego. The game features clever and interesting twists on the original story. There are a number of amusing moments. I can't wait until Lego Batman comes out!

I bought this for my husband as a gift. Although he is in his mid 30's he enjoys this game immensely. He has played the entire game in story mode and is now playing the entire game in free play mode in order to find all of the hidden artifacts and parcels to complete the game 100%. He says (and I quote), "Lego's plus Indiana Jones equals Awesome!" The graphics and game play are equally great, according to him. Although there is no actual dialog, you still get the whole story, beginning to end, from The Lost Ark all the way to The Last Crusade. If you are an Indiana Jones fan, you will greatly enjoy how each story unfolds through the eyes of Lego's. The movie sequences before, during and after the actual game play help tell the story in a Lego kind of way. (He also likes the fact that this game occasionally cameos some highly recognizable and loved Star Wars characters.) He has played Lego Star Wars and is looking forward to Lego Batman and thinks that game will be just as great as Lego Indiana Jones. Because, as he says, "Let's face it, Lego's at any age are AWESOME!"

My 8 yr old daughter is a big Indy fan and this game didn't disappoint with great play and great humor. You will need to use your collective brains to get thru some of the levels. If you liked the Lego Star Wars versions, this one won't disappoint.
