I bought this as a birthday gift for my brother and he loved it. I did not see the second dvd yet but the first one was awesome. Though Peter griffin entered late in the scene but he was really hilarous as always.
About the package it came in perfect shape properly packed. For some of you the t shirt which they have along with the box is of XL size so that might not fit you very well but overall the product is worth purchasing

I only gave it 4 stars because the iPod version of the movie only works if you have a USA account. If you are a UK/European iTunes user you won't be able to use the iTunes disk...

The Family Guy Blue Harvest dvd is very funny and sticks close to the original Star Wars plot (which kind of surprised me). They throw in some very funny lines and gags in the movie, you get to see the scenes that were cut from the original TV showing, and the dvd has some cool special features (like an interview with George Lucas, the story of how and why they made the movie, and a 3D version of one of the battle scenes). I have two things to say that are somewhat negative though. 1) You should only buy this dvd if you are a true fan of Family Guy, otherwise you'll waste your money on a t-shirt, art book, and trading cards that you don't really want, and 2) the way the box is set up makes it hard to close and put away without having the "trading cards" fall out. In the end, buy this special edition if your crazy about Family Guy or if you just liked the movie, buy the regular version.

With only one overly gratuitous and rather annoyingly pointless section of the episode (the song from Herbert), this is a funny funny Family Guy take on A New Hope. Fans of FG who share a similar fanaticism of SW will love this, and the extras inside this box are great.

As always, the creators of Family guy have made a very funny show, but unfortunately I believe it will only appeal to a limited audience.
While the regular show occasionally throws in a Star Wars reference for laffs, Blue Harvest is a faithful recreation of Episode IV: A New Hope. I know a lot of younger fans for whom Star Wars isn't an obsession. While the Jawa noise, or Han Solo REALLY shooting first, elicited peals of laughter from my 37-year old sister, my 24-year old work colleague sat straight-faced and couldn't understand why I was so delighted -- and he's a bigger Family Guy fan that I am! He's much more familiar with Anakin's story from the new trilogy, so the conversation between the two Stormtroopers regarding a drill means very little to him.
Overall I found it to be an excellent Star Wars homage, but only a mildly amusing Family Guy episode.
