Well we bought this and House of Dead 2/3 combo. House of dead is great but we could not get this gun to fire accurately. We tried calibrate and the dang gun is just not accurate. While this thing is only about $10, you get what you pay for. As a former deputy I like the handgun feel of this even though it is top heavy I cannot stand an innacurate shot. It shoots high and to the right. You can somewhat adjust but when you are killing the big bosses it is a real hinderence. Get the LINKS zapper instead if accuracy is the key.

The "Perfect Shot" does have a nice feel and makes "aiming" and "shooting" easy and natural. The problem comes in when you play a game (Like 007 Quantum of Solace) where you need to use the controls on the Wii remote and you need your other hand to work the nunchuk. You have to drop the nunchuk quickly press whatever button and then quickly grab the nunchuk again.
After playing for a few minutes, crippled by not using features accessed by the buttons on the Wii controller, I ditched this gun and went back to just holding the controller in my hand. This is very disappointing because aiming *is* better with this gun.
Also beware that you'll have to take off the nice rubber protective sleeve and wrist strap from the controller when you put it into this gun (thus making switching back and forth a tedious process).

I read so many positive reviews that I decided to purchase it. It came as expected the DAY BEFORE XMAS. I immediately opend the package and ran to the tv to play with it. Inserted the wii controoler and ...Nothing ! The connector that is suppose to attach to the wii controller is bent side ways. A faulty unit. I am returning it ASAP and trying again. I will update the review as soon as I have an operational unit to talk about it.

This product is the perfect connection for the Wii. it adds a whole new usage perspective to playing shooters. The Wii Zapper that I have was okay but compared to this it was inferior. This thing allows you to feel like you are actually shooting a gun and provides better control and aim. I would highly recommend buying this product.

Though most reviews are stellar, I have read a few reviews of people who were unhappy. I would like to add that the attention to detail is amazing, even fake screw bumps, slightly textured handle, etc. The gun itself is very light with metal screws to hold the housing together & with the remote it is balanced well w/o making the gun itself unnecessarily heavy.
I've read a few people who said the trigger spring was too tight making rapid fire difficult & exhausting after play which kept me from buying it sooner. When you pull the trigger you can see the tab on a plastic slider piece simply slide to trigger the B button well. When you pull the trigger, there is a slight spring feel, it's not overly tight, just tight enough so that the B button isn't stuck being pushed. Everytime I squeezed the trigger, it worked faithfully & helped keep my hand steady even in comaprison to using the remote alone. I was able to use it for a little over an hour straight w/o my hand or fingers being tired & I was able to shoot quickly, though yes, not quite as fast as the remote alone, but I always felt that way was an unfair advantage as you could shoot faster then a semi or fully automatic by hitting the B fast. Using the wii mote alone is actually an unfair advantage it terms of shots/minute.
The pass-thru for the nunchucked worked as promised & I felt it was a nice tight lock for both the remote & the nuchchuck places.
As a 5' 3" woman, I had no problem with the size of the gun nor pulling the trigger often for an hour straight playing Ghost Squad. Using the A button on top for some action sequences was a little weird, but I realized after I could change the config to use the Z button instead for action. You can also use this in the shooting games of Rayman Raving Rabbids 1, 2 & 3, Link's Crossbow (I got it used w/o the zapper at gamestop) or any game that uses the B button as a trigger.
