This a great product and I recommend it to anyone that likes light gun games.
I played it with Ghost squad and I hear it works well with Umbrella chronicles and House of the dead. The only thing is that you cant point exactly on the screen but more towards the sensor bar. But that is a minor thing and your eyes and aim will automatically adjust. I play Ghost Squad without cursor sights on and it's great!
Very much like being at the arcade. I hope more light gun games come out for the Wii because this thing makes the it feel like a true arcade experience.

I was upset about the fit of the wiimote in the gun. Even though the box shows a rechargeable mote fitting, it doesn't. Shouldn't Nyko have made it compatible with their own product?? And even when I did take the cover off, it still didn't fit. The rear of the gun slants down (why would they do that??) and it ended up scratching my wiimote skin. Hopefully, it didn't scratch the mote underneath. Plus the strap has to be taken off. The whole 1/4" slant needs to sanded down and then it will probably fit ok.
And also, this thing is huge and made for ham hands. My hand starts to cramp after awhile and I end up holding it with 2 hands. But that being said, the feel of the gun is pretty good and the accuracy is better than the wii zapper. I still like the zapper as well and it would probably be good to have both.

I have 2 of this model and one of the Pelican brand. I got the Pelican one first, but I had to remove the battery cover because the Nyko rechargeable batteries are too big. So I was stoked to get the Nyko brand as it would accommodate their batteries. Unfortunately, they made really snug and you have to jam it in there. If you have any skins on your remotes, they will have to be taken off. Also, expect there to be gouges left in the remote because the lip over the rear part of the remote housing is jagged and sharp (it could actually cut you).
Bottom line: It works well and feels great when playing shooting games. However, you should take a dremel to the dang thing first and cut off about 1/4-1/2 inch of plastic to make it fit right. Bad product testing and foresight.

I have pretty average sized hands, and like others have said I found the handle to be too thick, and it cramps my hands pretty quickly. My coworker who has hands larger than mine commented that they felt big too.
It's an ok accessory, but you probably wont want to play for more than an hour at a time.

First of all, I'm not sure if the reviewer(s) stating that the aim on the gun is way off is actually using the gun sites or if they're judging by pointing the gun at the screen and the on-screen site is way off, but my Wii gun works great. Of course my sons first time using it was him trying to use the gun sites, "this things aim is way off!". DUH! What sites were you using BEFORE having the gun? Then he realized that it is more of an appliance that adds a little realism to the game. Kinda like the Wii steering wheel. I can see those reviews now, "steering is loose and the car runs off the road a lot. This thing sucks..."
My only issue with the gun is that you have to wiggle the Wiimote a bit to get the nunchuk to connect.
