This charger works perfectly. My controller is always charged and if not, this will charge it in less than a hour. I love how this looks with the gray clear and black plastic makes it look fancy. The LED's are extremely bright but thats only minor. The controller falls right into its spot which only requires me placing it and not fumbling with the USB wire anymore. I would recommend this to anyone with an PS3. Just so you know, this has the regular small wall adapter like a standard fan does; It doesn't have a huge outlet like some devices have and takes up multiple outlets.

I have never really liked these external controller chargers , I thought they were a waste of money. I must say I saw this product at a friends house and fell in love with it. I charges the controllers very fast and really doubles as a holder . My only beef is that the lights are kinda bright but thats not a real big deal .

Works pretty well. The adapters that go on the controllers are small and not intrusive. One of the slots is kinda picky with how i put the controller in it. I dunno. Better than nothing though. I was sick of having USB cables dangling in front of my PS3.

With USB ports at a premium on the PS3, a charger for my controllers was a necessity after buying Rock Band. Nyko's charger was more than I had hoped for. My first impression was that it looks better than the photo would indicate. Sturdy construction, adapters that fit snug, the controllers rest easily in the base, and the red/green charge indicating lights all make this PS3 accessory a great deal for what I paid. No more "low battery" warnings in the middle of games forcing me to use the much too short USB cable that came with the PS3. I cannot attest to longevity since I just received it, but I would recommend this to anyone looking for a charger.

With a two year old son in the house, I was constantly needing to stop him from ripping the PS3 out of the entertainment unit to play with the controller. With this charging/storage unit I can now remove the USB cable and hopefully prolong the life of my PS3. I set this up last night, plugged in my two controllers, and they were charged in less than two hours. They drop easily into the cradle, due to the plug you connect directly to the controller, and store away, charged and ready for use. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative for charging your controllers.
