Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Almost like the real thing...
I came across this while looking for wii games that we could play as a family (we have a 2 and a 4 yr old) and the Ocean aspect is perfect (as they both love the aquarium and I like snorkeling and diving).

I've played this game more than anyone and I am addicted. As many said, there needs to be some work done on the above water scenes and the people/dialog, but otherwise, its a hit. I love swimming with the Whale Sharks, the sperm whales and the other critters at 500 feet below the surface.

Definitely recommend this game for anyone looking for a good way to unwind after work.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not for everyone
As a fan of the virtual fishtank I expected to find a lot more fun from this game. The characters are lame and the discovery process is flat. The protagonist (aka you) in the game is a pony-tail guy who's supposed to be a trained diver with no knowledge of the ocean. Huh? Except for the trained diver part, I couldn't relate at all. Your sidekick is all smart about the ocean but acts like a ditz. Moving around the boat (and moving the boat around) is tedious. Swimming around and looking at fish is enjoyable for a while, but it does get old.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great!
This game is a great undersea adventure espeically for those of us whom cannot experience the wonders of the ocean in person. My 5 and 10yr old boys love this game. The controls are a bit difficult but once you get past that its a fantastic game!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - My kids loved it!
This was such a good choice. Not only is it fun to maneuver your scuba diver, but you learn about fish and get to discover hidden treasures. Players also get a dolphin partner they can train and swim with. All dialogue in the game is done with subtitles, which was challenging for our 2nd grader to read. Also the player needs to read regular Emails that give clues and instuctions. We are planning a trip to Seaworld soon, and this game has been a great warm-up for more aquatic fun.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Like Opera
That's my take on this game. Like Opera, you are either gonna love it or hate it. It's relaxing and enjoyable as well as educational. Sure there are some things about it that may seem silly, like petting everything you see to learn about it, and yeah the plot isn't exactly The Matrix (FIRST one), but all in all, this game is a gem because it isn't Grand Theft Auto, Assassins' Creed or HALO. What I mean is, it's a unique game in every sense of the word, and if someone is in the mood to cue up something that's pretty original and interesting, as well as peaceful and fun, this is the game for you.
