Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Another Wii game that scores
If you love fishing you will really love this game. I think it was one of the better made games so far with the Wii.

I can really see them doing other ones in the Hooked! series - Deep sea fishing, Bass, Ice fishing, etc.

The only downgrade on this is putting the fishing pole together is a pain in the butt.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - not bad for the price
This game is relatively simple and fun to play. If you actually like fishing and want a game that has options then I would go for Rapala Tournament Fishing, I bought this as well. Being that my grandfather and myself actually fish the lack of options in this game became really irritating. Your line will break for no reason and you don't have a selection of lines, drag, or lures. Simply, you cast, you tilt your rod, and reel in hoping for the best. There isn't much more to this game. If you're looking for something simple but fun and you don't have much real fishing experience then I would recommend this game. I hope this review helps.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - I'd rather be fishin' wii fishin that is
Great graphics, if you get the 'fishing pole' with the game it's generally useless as the numchuck controls the boat not the realing action, but hey it's cute. Game could use 'line tension' control, but I'm not that far into it (about to go pro) so maybe that comes up later. I'm also hoping for a fish finder. But it's great when you find'em.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Fish are Biting...
I have not fished since I was a child... wouldn't do it now as an adult.. except on my wii... and Hooked is GREAT!

Different scenery, different seasons, different weather conditions... and lots of fun.

The game is glitchy when it comes to totalling all fish during a tournament and often does not add newly caught fish. However, the graphics, sound effects and virtual fishing highly out ways the glitchy addition problem!

I recommend this game - you do not need the reel, but since it comes with the game it does add to the fun!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Reel-Life Fishing
The problem I have with this particular game, is the fishing-rod controller. It is not constructed well and came apart in my hands. The game is like you are really catching fish. You must change lures with the conditions as you would in real life. I suggest practicing before you join a tournament. Once you get the basics of casting and reeling, you'll become a pro in no time!
