Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - HORRIBLE BUILT QUALITY!
The worst system every made. It died after 1 year and my friend's died after 6 months. I handled it with so much care. My other friend works at UPS and he says he sees 1 to 5 broken Xbox 360s every week being shipped back to Microsoft. My Super Nintendo and Sega Dreamcast is still working after all these years. Microsoft does not know how to make hardware. They have no experience in designing new systems. I don't know why they even went into the console business. Xbox live is too over hyped. I own a Playstation 3 also and the Playstation Network is just amazing and it's free to play against other people around the world. All the games I want are coming to Playstation 3. Xbox 360 Elite can't even play blue-ray movies, can't upconvert DVDs to 1080P, doesn't have WiFi, and the Xbox 360 Elite cost more than Plastation 3. The Playstation 3 hard drive can be upgraded to a 250 GB hard drive for less than $100.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Microsoft Makes Another Great Product!
Microsoft makes another great product! This console rocks. I have had my console for 8 months and it works fine. You will get an occasional freeze up, but what game system does not. First, I would like to say that 360 is better than ps3 because ps3 does not have a big variety of games. Second, The 360 controller`s joysticks are offset so they are much more comfortable than ps3`s controllers. And third, 360 is more affordable than ps3 (ps3 is $450 compared to 360 $299) so I would choose a 360 over a ps3 anyday. The 360 would be better if it had a blueray player, but why would you buy a game console to play movies? So get your 360 now.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - By far the best system I've ever owned
I have owned every system since the Atari 2600, and this is by far the best. The games are phenomenal, both the games on DVD and the games on XBOX Live. Not only are the games great, but we have quit renting videos at blockbuster because we can just watch everything we want right on the xbox. I've owned the system for 2 years now and cannot recommend it enough.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Biggest Waste Of Money...
I have owned both xbox consoles (regular and 360) and they both broke down. The 360 is extremely disappointing. I had mine sent off to be repaired after 5 months of owning it. It has just broke again with a different problem. I do not play mine very often, only during football season for madden and ncaa football. So, for it to break without hardly being played is ridiculous. Too expensive for something that just doesn't last.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Finally a great price for an awesome console
I got this unit from another retailer, and i think finally a good price is available. This actual version of the 360 runs very cool (no more overheating) and the dvd drive is very silent, so it is very reliable, thanks to Microsoft for such a great product. It has everything the Elite version will bring but with a smaller hard drive and the HDMI cable is not included (you can get it cheap in many places), but the HDMI port is built-in with this release.

Now that the overheating issues have been fixed, i am convinced that the XBOX 360 is the best video game console in the market today and with the best libraries of games available.
