Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - FAIL!
Keyboard was ok for about a year, but then 2 of the keys stopped working, TAB and G11 don't work anymore. Pwnd a lot of n00bs with it, but this board is worthless now. Most keyboards last 3 to 5 years easy, and since this keyboard is "teh gey" after one year I just can't recommend buying it.

I will say my Logitech G5 laser mouse still pwns, but just can't recommend the keyboard. Get a different brand. Peace, and keep gaming!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Very Good For Gaming !
Hey if you are a true gamer then this is the keyboard for you my friend.I dominate at the Lan Party each sunday ! Also i can now play at night easy with this , and the LCD is very cool when playing games that are compatible with it because it gives you live stats. make sure you buy this with the Logitech G5 gaming mouse they make a great team . But if you are not a gamer this is not for you !

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - great gaming keyboard
Never having used the 1st gen version of the Logictech G15 keyboard, I've been nothing but impressed with my 2nd gen. I understand that the 1st gen had the "full" bank of macro keys, but to be honest, for my gaming style, the 6 macros are more than enough for me and how I use it. Its well laid out, comfortable to type on, and the backlit keys make it useful at all hours, not to mention the great LCD display for ingame info - highly recommend this keyboard!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great hardware, so/so software
The G15 was a great purchase for me because it can be very useful for World of Warcraft. It does what it's advertised to do but the only two major things that irk me are that it runs 6 different background processes for the LCD alone! I try to limit the amount of running background processes so I was a bit surprised at how many things it runs in the background. They range in memory usage from 3.3k to around 12.k according to my task manager. Combined the software for the LCD alone uses up more memory than AIM but it doesn't do much!

Also, when I initially used the macros I was under the impression that if I had one continously looping an action in the game it would continue doing it if I minimized the game. It does not do that! The reason this is an issue is because I like to AFK grind in WoW while doing other stuff on my PC without worrying about jumping every 4 mins so I don't get marked AFK and kicked.

Besides those two software issues the hardware is overall great just that the lighting behind the 0 button on the keypad is noticeably lighter than the rest of the keyboard.
