Love the interaction of the game. My kids have a lot of fun with it too. Really looking forward for the wireless version of all of the instruments!!
The drumset is made of cheap plastic, and it shows! We have had it for 2 months and both sides have broken off the drums, making them unusuable. There is really no vertical support for the ouside drums, and so if you buy one make sure that you add some kind of support.

My son got GHIII as a gift luckily a gift receipt was included and I(Dad) was able to return it and trade it in for a whole rock band. Now we can all enjoy it as a family except my 5 year old girl but she'll get it. Song list are awesome, from The Who to the Foo (fighters), from the Rolling stones to the Stone temple pilots. from one of my al time favs, The Clash to my new favs Soundgarden. You'll have a Smashing Pumpkin good times roll. I highly recomend and I can't wait to have friends and family over to Rock on. Only thing I would ask for is a wider range of genre, including Rap (Rap Band). I can put on the Grills and bling

Rock Band is a must have game for those that like the musical performance game genre that Guitar Hero founded. Rock Band offers the full band experience (vocals, guitar, drums, bass) which is cool. Guitar Hero 4 is soon to follow suit. The guitar included with Rock Band, however, is inferior to the guitar included with Guitar Hero III in one important respect...the strum bar. The Fender Guitar has a much less rugged and less precise strum bar. The good news is you can play Rock Band with your Gibson from Guitar Hero. Rock Band also offers a far larger downloadable song library including the ability to buy individual songs, not just song packs. All in all Rock Band is well worth the price.

bought this product for my 14 yo kiddo, watched him and his buddies have a great time even though the songs are way older than the kiddos. eventually, I was begged & harrassed into doing the vocals. how much fun can an older guy have? THIS is the band I was never talented enough to have and make work - rockin' !!!

I am not the type to spend hours over a video game, they are useless. A few times they proved to be somewhat entertaining. Rockband, I bought for my boyfriend for his birthday. Since the first day I am hooked. Our little band is now in the Hall of Fame. I am really good at the drums... never thought i would get the beats! Buy it!
