I bought only the game because i alredy have a guitar from Guitar Hero, I can play without a problem with this guitar. The game is excellent but the whole deal, I mean, with the drums, because the guitar game play it's not good enough compare to Guitar Hero.

This game is amazing because it brings more to the table than just the guitar! Now I am not bashing Guitar Hero (because the guitar parts in Guitar Hero are actually challenging compared to Rock Band). Anyways, this is a great game for playing in groups. There are a lot of songs you can download when you master the songs provided in the game. You can challenge other people online or make bands with them! It is a great game to play and it will bring you hours of fun! The only problem is the bass drum pedal on the drums tend to break and the guitar sucks compared to a guitar from Guitar Hero.

I originally was against the idea of this game. I didn't think that a music based game could be fun, or give the gamer a feel of being in a band and performing. I was incredibly wrong.
This game is ok by yourself, but where it really shines is when playing with other people. You find ourself really getting into it.
The difficulty goes from sadly easy to mind blowing hard pretty fast, and as with real instruments, it takes a lot of practice to get good at this game.
The song choices are pretty good, although I would ask for some more really well known stuff. The regular updates of music is another genius idea that really keeps this game going. Being able to get new songs increases the life span of the game as you always have new songs to learn and play. I do wish they would add downloadable clothing and additional content for the avatars.
This is an amazing game and I recommend everyone go out and get it. The price tag with instruments may be steep, but it is absolutely worth it.

ROCKBAND = FUN.
That's right, rockband is fun for the whole family. It's a great game and the multiplayer mode is even better.

I only bought the game as we had already purchased Guitar Hero 3 for XBox 360 and had 2 guitars. My son says that Guitar Hero 3 is more challenging in terms of guitar playing but that the songs on Rock Band probably have a broader appeal. He likes both though. I have since ordered the drums to go along with this game. We have not experienced any bugs or glitches playing this game so far.
