Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - VIDEO ROCKER EXTREME
This was a gift for our granddaughter. She absolutely loved it. Was a big hit for Christmas and will be for many years to come. It was all worth it to see the smile on her face and the fun she had checking it all out and rocking away the evening. Something we all especially liked were that the speakers blended in with all the black coloring and didn't stick out like a sore thumb as some others did on another site -- they had light grey circles [for the speakers] on the side which weren't very flattering. This all blends in beautifully and will allow her and all consumers to rock out in a monotonous color scheme. I would say this would fit any size child to adult, as we all sat in it and rocked around and she is over 5' in the 5th grade. Definitely a 5-star product!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - very poorly made
my husband bought this chair in november, and by december the material had already started ripping on it. we now have a rip all the way across the chair. My husband only weighs 150 lbs. so if you weigh less than that i guess this chair might work.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great product
this product is awesome! the speakers are really sharp and the control panel is easy to use. the only complaint i would have is that the size is a bit small. it can still fit your body like a rocker would, but the back is a bit short. a.k.a. your head is not supported. but other than that, this product is a definate must for gamers or movie buffs!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - ***Three generations of 'sitters' disagree with bad reviews - we love these chairs!***
My husband got one of these chairs - used - from his parents when he started college in 1976. It was a permanent fixture in every family or living room he/we have had since then, sometimes out of the way when we didn't need it, but more often than not right out in the middle of the room.

We now have three children who love this chair, so much so that I'm tired of setting the timer on my stove to make sure they each get 'their turn' in the chair, so I ordered each of them one for Christmas this year.

I agree, this chair is perfect for small people, like children - I'm about average-sized, I guess, and we have a 'weight-challenged' friend who finds it uncomfortable because he kind of overflows the sides...

!!! I FIND THIS CHAIR AWESOMELY COMFORTABLE FOR ME TO SIT IN, WITH MY HEATING PAD OR ICE PACKS, TO GET RELIEF FOR LOWER BACK AND SCIATIC PROBLEMS !!!

When my kids aren't here, I choose this chair over BOTH reclining couches & the nice big LazyBoy...and now, with four chairs in the house, only my husband will have to find somewhere else to sit...

When my back is really bothering me, I set up the little table I use for reading in bed, like a breakfast served in bed kind of table, & set it up right beside me to keep everything handy and up off the floor. I'm sure these chairs won't work for everyone, but we sure love ours & I'll always have at least one in the house, even after my kids grow up and leave home.

I just can't say enough good things about them for my kind of pain problems.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not Worth The Money If Your Tall
The previous reviewer is absolutly right in saying it is not made for anyone over 5'5". I think that they make a version for taller people (I got this one as a gift). You will fall backwards if you don't slump really low, and that hurts you back after playing video game for a long time. But the big complaint I have is that when I slump down, at the very end of the seat there is a something that jets up and pokes your butt, it's like a piece of plastic that needs to be cut off inside the seat. This is REALLY ANOYING, and PAINFUL! I know this may be my fault because I don't have the larger version. but they should note on the outside of the box "FOR CHILDREN/ADULTS UNDER 5'5"".

My last complaint is that the manuel is VERY poorly written. When you first read the manuel it looks like it comes with all these extra excessories (like arm rests, and a TX BOX-which is a wireless gismo), neither one comes with the V Rocker, but they DON'T note these are optional, only the chair pedestal is noted as optional - Very annoying.

So, if your under 5'5", and know that the dorks that wrote the manuel don't give you everything shown, you will enjoy this. I will say a positive for the V-Rocker Extreme is that the speakers in the chair are awesome (but of course they were covered by my shoulders because I was too tall.
