The title says it all - this is seriously the best game I've ever played. I totally love that wii lets you use your hands too, not just your feet. Delivered early and in perfect condition.

For the price of a dozen roses this made an unusual and equally well received valentines day gift for my fiance. It's not only fun, but very challenging and has been getting a lot of use ever since.
Only downside is that the dance pad is a fold away vinyl/plastic thing that takes some getting used to and the sensor pads inside ours moved after a few weeks - the game is hard enough without moving targets as well!
Overall though it was definitely worth getting.

I am new to the Dance Dance Revolution games. We purchased a Wii and I was looking for fun games I would enjoy to play with. I purchased this game, primarily on the strength of reviews I read on Amazon.com.
As others have mentioned, there are a few items I feel could have been made better:
* Workout mode - It is really the same as the other modes, the only difference is that it calculates calories. I wish it gave an option of setting continuous music with no interruptions for an amount of time set by the users. Granted, we can set a time, but it interrupts by calculating calories between each song.
* Options - I had to go online to figure out how to turn off hand markers and gimmicks. I kept looking for these options from the main menu and had go online to find out there are in the "options" that are among the list of songs. The manual did not state this.
With my gripes out of the way, overall, I truly LOVE this game. Right away I had fun playing, even though I was off beat and failed the dance combos on the songs. The more I practice, the better I am getting and it is always nice to finish a song with a good grade and feel a great sense of accomplishment.
I enjoy playing individual, but must agree with others that playing with others is more fun. I get a kick out of "battling" my husband, and playing "friendship" mode with my young son.
I would definitely recommend this game. My family has found that we can play this game for hours, it is just that captivating!

I love this game i use it as a work out and i have been playing it for about 2 weeks straight and i swear i can see a difference the only thing is that i dont know how to store or incoperate my Mii in to the game and the hand options have to be turned off every time you want to play . Its fun but the song collection is not my cup of tea

I got this for Christmas and was thrilled. Before anything, we had our Wii set up and I was ready for dancing.
My first observation upon beginning game play was that I had to turn off the pesky hand movements part of the game. They were really just taking away from the all around experience.
Then, I saw the song list and was pretty disappointed. Some of the tracks were really fun..but it seemed mostly to comprise of radio songs with a techno twist.
The dances seemed a lot easier and well..it's just not a classic DDR game.
After playing for about a month, unlocking some of the better songs, my final say on the game is that looking at it as a game..seperated from it's predecessors, it's alright.
Looking at a long history of amazing DDR games though..this is a big let down.
Perhaps if we could move back to some of the more "DDR like" songs the game would be better.
