Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - May not be for children under 12
This is a great game for the Wii....for Adults. Not sure it's for kids under 12 as its a bit complicated. Certain questions are grade school level such as when you're supposed to pop the balloons from lowest to highest in number and the numbers are -21, -1, 67, 78, 85. Not all mini games are for 2+ players, but the ones that are, it's great head to head competition.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not enough variety
The activities that are on the game are fun, but there is not enough variety and they quickly get "old"

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Brain Food
Highly recomended. You can have your kids play and study at the same time!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fun, Adictive, great Multi-player mode and Family fun!!!
This game has received a lot of bad press because it wasn't want people expected. They expected it to be like Brain Age on the DS, while there is room for improvement this game is actually really fun. Perhaps the biggest surprise to me was how much fun the multi-player mode was. Everyone that I have had over has enjoyed the game and commented that they didn't know why it was so addictive. The multi-player mode allows you to work as teams against each other, or a computer to solve puzzles as fast as you can...it becomes quite fun and intense!!! The single player mode is also fun as you constantly are trying to improve your score. When you take the exam, you're tested in all five styles of mental games and you receive a weight and grade score for you brain. You're encouraged to spend a little time each day working at it and it's really fun. This game is easy and challenging at the same time and I think that kids and adults would like it if you're in the right mind set. It's not a traditional video game but it's really fun and I can easily see families enjoying a little brain age fun which I think is kind of cool.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great game, esp for non-gamers
The Brain Academy series has been extremely popular, especially among non-gamers. I remember taking the DS version home for Xmas once, and all four members of the family were fighting for the DS the entire time in order to improve their scores.

The Wii version is a lot of fun, and the new controls carried over perfectly. Both my current roommates (non-gamers) are completely hooked (one of them joked about how he daydreamed all day at work to come home and play!)

My only complaint is that you keep hoping for a couple more games for variety, or a more developed multiplayer mode (the current modes are fun, just leaves you wishing for just a bit more...)

A great purchase.
