If you like puzzle and maze games, you'll love this. It does a very good job with the Wii remote as a leveler for the tables, and has some very interesting variations that will make you think to solve. The physics looks realistic to me.
If you want a video game that actually challenges your brain while being fun to play, this is a good one for you OR your kids.
The price is hard to beat, as well.

I bought this game after seeing an ad for it in a magazine. The ad said that it was a bargain at the price it was listed at and that it is a great puzzle game. I have to agree. This game is a lot of fun bringing back memories from the first mercury game on the PSP and also taking me way back to the days of marble madness. This is a fun game that has pretty good graphics and has a good look and good control with the Wii remote. I would recommend this game, especially for the price.

At $20, this game is the best value game there is for the Wii. Its average rating on the internet is between 8 and 9 out of 10, and frankly, the replay value and depth in the game pretty much make it a 10. It has over 100 different levels, all imaginative and fun, as well as unlockable party games for times when you just want to relax.
The game also makes great use of the Wii motion controls, they are intuitive and perfectly responsive. Hardcore gamers will appreciate the exact responsiveness of the controls and casual gamers will love the ease of picking the controls up and playing.
If you have a Wii, its a simple choice: buy this game. $20 is a steal for something of this high quality and honestly, I would have bought this game even if it were selling for $40 retail.

Being a fan of games like Super Monkeyball, I got this game about a month or so ago because I thought it sounded cool. Once my copy arrived in the mail and I started playing it, I found it to be very fun. It is similar to the Monkeyball games in that you tilt the level to move, but in this game you control a blob of mercury rather than a ball. I find that this mercury blob is a bit easier to control than the ball in Super Monkeyball: Banana Blitz.
I think that this game is a very innovative new twist on the classic Marble Madness/Super Monkeyball style gameplay. I'm just surprised by how good this game is and how much content it has given the price!
As you progress through the game, the levels get trickier, but so far I find that they are all more than possible to complete. It just takes some practice, but if you stick with it, you will beat the level. The game will make you think sometimes, because the solution to a level is not always immediately obvious, but I think that's a good thing.
This game is just incredibly fun and can keep you busy for a long time. The game can be rather addictive too. :)

If you enjoy maddeningly difficult puzzle games, Mercury Meltdown is a steal at the shovelware price of $[...]. As others have said, the graphics are not super detailed, but the controls are dead-on and there are over 100 levels, as well as a number of unlockable extras.
Keep in mind that although you _can_ play with more than 1 player (after unlocking some minigames), the single player game is really where the bulk of the game play is.
Please buy this game to reward good publishers selling great games at reasonable prices!
