I picked up this cable because of the price. The price to value ratio is excellent. It does just what it should do for a fraction of the retail price.

Good cable for the price. I notice a crisper and brighter picture immediatly. Just make sure you make the appropriate changes on your Wii and check your TV settings if necessary.

This cable is definitely a good and cheap alternative to anything you will find in the stores. I'm not quite sure how drastic of an improvement it is over the AV cables, but honestly, who cares for this price.

This is a component cable for the Nintendo Wii system. It allows the user to unlock the 480p mode for higher image quality, which is not available with the regular Nintendo AV cable. If you are using a large HDTV (as I am) you will see a clear difference in picture quality going from Composite to Component cables, since 480p displays much more image data per second than 480i.
Taking the Wii game "Zelda-Twilight Princess" as an example: Your picture will be sharper, less "washed out", the lines will be clearly defined, and your colors will probably be perfect even without the calibration sequence. The improvement in resolution will make some of the in-game tasks (archery etc) a lot simpler.
This particular cable seems to be cheaper than others, while still being of high-quality, which makes it more attractive.
To summarize: this cable does exactly what it is supposed to do, and it cost me very little.

This cable works great, i know the wii is not hd but 480p makes a difference it looks a lot better right now.
