Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome box set
NWN is a great game, and this box set has it all on one disc at a great price. If you love NWN and don't have the diamond, you must get it. It has all the expansions and 2 premium modules.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Weeks of entertainment
Bioware has made an excellent game that is extremely fun to play. The character generation, skills, combat, and magic spells are all balanced and follow the D&D rules. The lack of lighting can be tiring on the eyes after a while as certain environmental factors are added for realism in the game, such as fighting at night or in a cave.

The original game is included in this edition along with the two expansion modules and other modules. The original game is the longest one with many sub-quests to gain experience and gather magical items. Really good idea to pick up magic bags of holding when you can to not only carry more items, but also reduce the weight. Recommendation is to sell-off all extra weapons and armor along with other items that you find, but do not need. When you advance from chapter to chapter, you only keep what is physically on your character's inventory.

There are several online sites which provide very detailed hints on how to solve some of the more difficult puzzles along with how to complete some obscure quests. The original game only allows the player to have 1 NPC with them. The expansion allows up to 2 NPC's and the player also has the ability to equip them with different armor and weapons, along with carry extra loot too and very nice added feature to the game.

Finished the original game and ended with a 15th level character. The Shadows of Undertide and Hordes of the Underdark expansions allows importing of this character the reach Epic levels (20+). Shadows was a fun expansion with moderate level of puzzles to solve.

Hordes had a variety of game play, some very challenging battles and mix of puzzles. Didn't enjoy the 3rd and final chapter to Hordes, too many puzzles that really slowed down the pace of the game. Personally enjoy the more hacking and slashing type of battles to find treasure. There are plenty of epic level weapons, but your character will most likely only need two to complete the module. The rest can be sold off.

The key to this game is to have a good thief NPC with you or to have good lock-picking or disarm trap skills. There is a lot of treasure and traps that the character can only get to if they have the skills (or NPC). Having a cleric to dispell undead is also very useful as many levels are fought against skeletons and zombies. Fighting the vampire monks in Hordes requires breaking of the furniture to get the wooden stakes to use and kill their bodies in the coffins. Definitely keep immunity to fear amulets as it is needed when fighting the Dragons in the game.

This game is an excellent value for $20 and will provide hours and weeks of fun. Note: haven't tried the online play or the Kingmaker expansion pack however.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - good game but slow game play
This is a good game but it has slow game play and you can get tired of playing easly.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the best around
Its been about 4years now since the original release of Neverwinter Nights and I didnt even consider it then but I spotted this little gem when I was looking up some other RPG classics and thought why not? if i am gonna get the game may as well get it all eh.

Well I sure wasn't disappointed with what I got.
The game provides hours (well months) of fun and with a huge fan base and mod community out there even after you complete the main game and its expansions you have hundreds of player made dungeons and adventures to download from Biowares main site.
I cannot recommend this enough to those that may not have played this game yet and for the price its a steal as well since you get the main game the 2 official expansions plus some other goodies to boot.
Don't think about it...BUY it!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A good time for a good price
The Diamond edition of Neverwinter Nights is a good time to be had with an older game (Neverwinter 2 has been out for a bit now) at a good price. Overall I enjoyed the modules and found that it was loyal to the Dungeons and Dragons systym of which I have long known. The only bad thing I have to say is that the movement and point of view systym could use some working on. Many is the times that I found my POV to be screwy or ragged as I tried to find the right angle to enjoy the game at. But aside from that I liked it and found its effects and story to be highly enjoyable. I would reccomend it for young teens and older children as well. The combat was not a gore fest and the way they handled adult issues and situations was not such that a parent would be up in arms for the most part.
