Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - a real drivers game!
I love the intensity level of this game as you work the way up the rankings and skill levels. Realistic driving characteristics from the cars as you would expect, such as the torquey spin outs from the big engine ferrari's or the high revving porsche or JP1's. Also the way you have to match the car to the cicuit you're competing in so as to beat the computer in career mode. Spend many hours (over 2 million 600 thousand kudos )and still have a blast. Won several races in extreme still holding my interest and desire to conquer the racing would in this life time.If you don't own this game yet and love racing, what are you waiting for!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Worth every penny, including the ones saved!
I had purchased this game two weeks ago from time of writing and I have to say that I enjoy this game, especially considering it was a "bargain bin" title.

You start out with about 85,00CP when you start and as you progress through the game, you'll acquire more funds. There's also a "Kudos" system that'll reward you for doing things like power-slides, drifts, and also racing "clean" (In other words, "driving without 'crashing'").

The only gripe I have with this game is the amount it takes to complete the game. I had just received my 360 from the repair center in Texas and within two days, was able to complete the game on "normal" difficulty. However, the more difficult you make the races, the more challenging it seems, but is worth your while.
In closing, I strongly recommend this game for anyone who had just received their 360 and doesn't have much money to splurge on newer blockbuster titles.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great game.
Best online racing game I have ever played. So much fun to race online against friends. Cant wait for the sequel. Great for race fans.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The closest I'll ever get to driving a Ferrari
I was trying to decide between this game and Forza Motorsport 2.
Both have great graphics and solid gameplay, but I actually chose PGR 3 because of what it lacks: ultra-realistic car physics.

PGR 3 is very forgiving when it comes to driving. You'll still find yourself slamming into barriers if you try and take corners too quickly, but you can still take them quicker than you can in Forza 2, where the individual car physics are real-life.

I would have liked more car customization, as being able to solely pick from solid car colors is a bit drab.
The number of cars you can purchase is incredible, with even more that can be purchased from the XBLM.

With PGR4 coming out soon, you should be able to find this title on the cheap (I bought mine used for $15.) If you don't have it yet, now would be a perfect time to get it. If anything, it'll make you even more hungry for the next PGR installment.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Project Gotham Racing worthy of 4 stars
The Pros: This game is a total blast for the euro-auto enthusiast because the more one races the more credits earned to buy better cars like lamborgini, Ferrari, Mercedes, Astin Martin, Nissan etc.
Also, each car sounds and handles completely different and are set up to handle based on specs of the actual car. Hours of fun.
Lastly, there is a learning curve on every auto you drive and learning how to maximize the learning for every car is the secret to winning.

For example, every street-legal Ferrari has very good power and good handling but because they're street-legal and made for such, you have to learn to pitch their tales into the corners to maximize speed coming out of the corners. Non-street legal cars tend to not need pitching in corners, but need the driver to not-over rev RPM coming out of corners because of the big power motors in non-street cars. Over rev will throw handling totally off trying to come out of the corners.

Cons: Well, after every race you end up waiting from 5 to 14 seconds for the software to do its thing and reset. Then you also have to wait once you've chosen the next race... another 5 to 15 seconds. So the down time sucks especially when you're on a winning racing roll!
