- Fun, but flaws
Welcome to mario party 7! This year's edition is fun but there are some flaws. The first flaw, hugely notable is "Bowser Time". What this is is that after every turn, a Bowser meter grows, and when it fills up, Bowser does something bad. This is the LAMEST addition in a MP game EVER, plus there is no way to turn it off. Next, we have the AI. You can set them to 4 different levels, weak, normal, hard, and brutal(must unlock). Weak sets the players to easy to beat, but when you get paired with them, you get the picture. And of course, there is the "host", Toadsworth. He is very annoying and talks like a monkey. Now for the good. There are more than 80(!) minigames, and 11 of them use the mic. The mic is an awesome addition, by the way. There are 2 unlockable characters, Birdo and Dry Bones, which are cool and there are lots of unlockables, too.
The best feature by far is the 8-PLAYER mode. You play by teaming up with a partner, and sharing the controller. The 8-player minigames are fun, but it is a little awkward. Overall, Mario Party 7 is a great game, and I highly reccommed it!
Pros:
Tons of unlockables
great boards
more than 80 minigames
return of the mic
8 player
incredible sound, music, and graphics
Cons:
Bowser Time (can you say LAME?)
AI players
Solo Mode (very boring)
not many modes
annoying character voices
sometimes game seems to be against you
Here are my scores
