Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Sacred Gold
This game is great for the RPG player. It is somewhat close to Diablo. If you like that you will like this!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - hack 'n slash fun beyond Diablo II
I have to say that Sacred is one of the best action/RPG games out there. This is my favorite genre of games to play and I own many, many hack 'n slashers like this one,(including Diablo of course) and with the exception of Divine Divinity, this is my favorite one to play.I'm sure many people will think it is sacrilige to say this game is better than Diablo II but it really comes close. Especially now that this game is super cheap ('cause it's kind of old) it is a great value. Go out and buy this game, you won't regret it. (I would like to finish by saying Divine Divinity is THE best action/RPG, and it's only 10 bucks!!)

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Excellent
This is an older game, but it is a lot of fun to play. It levels the character easily and provides well balanced challenges for the character.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A true rival to Blizzard's Diablo
This game is amazing and I never tire of playing it. I found the original "Sacred" for $9.99 at Walmart and decided to try it out. I was not disappointed. This game has so much going on. There are quests, sub quests and seven characters to try out including a battle mage, a dwarf and a dameon. I've played as each and since the gameplay changes slightly with each character I have yet to finish an entire game. This is why I love it. You don't have to follow the quests exactly and this can mean loads of fun. The overall world of Ancara is so big I wonder if I'll ever explore it all.
Try out "Saced" Gold it has both the Ancaria and underworld games and you can import characters. It never gets old and the game itself is beautifully designed.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Better than Diablo II
At first this game seems like a Diablo II clone. But it's much more than that and MUCH superior IMHO to the Diablo series.
The controls are almost completely mouse-driven, and warning for Vista users: you need to add the program to your Data Execution Prevention exceptions list for it to run.
In this game, you pick from one of eight character classes/races, such as dwarf, gladiator (yawn)...but hey, there are much cooler ones than Diablo contains such as Seraphim (fallen angel), Vampiress (no gender choice), and Daemon. Yeah, I'm kickin' it as a Daemon now, the villagers scream and flee when I enter villages. This does not stop the main point of the game, which is the fulfillment of quests. In that sense, it reminds me more of a GBA (Game Boy Advance) game such as Golden Sun than Diablo II, which is a bit more free form.
And there IS online play, just like Diablo II. (Good luck trying to find an original Diablo online game you can join).
One of the things that makes it stand out from Diablo also is its extensive use of true-to-life landscape features...such as rivers, cliffs...it's basically National Geographic out there. (I.E. it can get annoying since it seems to be a bit over done by the game's map makers).
I recommend this game WAY over Diablo II, which is pretty much akin to me renouncing eating food to live entirely on granules of sand. (I'm a die-hard Diablo II fanatic...and my sense of humor is "dry and sarcastic").
The price is ridiculously low; I would buy two copies and donate one to a fellow PC gamer in my life, if not three* copies of it.
