Over 30 players.However let me explain Mario Superstar Baseball. Okay, first there`s challenge mode with teams. Now mate, no worry`s about mixing up team you can, BUT not on challenge mode,teams are the way they are up there. Also, Jr. Fangs you cannot play as in Challenge Mode, you play them.( It`s very strange with Bowser Monsters.)And by finishing challenge mode with Captains, you get the characters.Captains have 10 challenge mode missions,8 for sub captains, 6 for standard characters.And remember you mix up any old way.As per usual you get power ups, but only team Captains,sub Captains, and the secrets.Also, strangley players react to each over.Ex. Mario and Luigi will throw each over the ball.But let`s say Mario and Bowser are on the same team, they`ll throw it to each, but with a hesitation.That`s my review of Mario Superstar Baseball.

Now I have played many of the mario sports games...tennis loved it...soccer awesome....this however strikes out (honestly....) First thing it is WAY to easy to get someone out...because of that stupid circle that shows you exactly where the ball is going to land..im not kidding only about 1/4 of all the players who bat make it to first base its a joke you get a good hit and boom your out...the ball comes down to slow...very annoying, The controlls in this are also a big joke....specificly the throwing...I have a guy in a pickle (hehe sandalot) but he/she always makes it to the base..why? because the controlls are so difficult to use to throw the ball 1/2 the time im throwing it to third base when i want it to go to 2nd it is just plan retarded...im sorry but this game is fun at times...but nintendo dropped the bomb with this,

This game is the best Gamecube game that I have! Wait! I have to tell you my name and age. My name is Dominic DeVetis and I am [...]. Why I think this is the best game ever! is because I like hitting the ball when i'm batting and I like pitching and catching the baseball. You can do a Star Swing and a Star Pitch.{Only with a Captian} This game is so fun. My mom and dad bought this game for me for my birthday. I rented this game before. When I opened my present and I saw the game, I was so SURPRISED! I love the game so much!

This game is not that good. It's a best seller because everyone THOUGHT it was gonna be good, but it's pretty boring! I mean, if you want to play baseball just go outside and do it in reality! There's nothing about this game that makes different from other baseball games. I've played quite a lot of mario games and bsides from the Mario Party games, this is the worst. so don't waste yopur money, if you're looking for a fun sports-theme mario, Mario Strikers is a good investment.

I do not have the game, but The first thing I do when I get to someone that has the games house, I ask assoon as I can "can I play mario super star baseball?" Then I get to play. My favorite piture is wario because I can strike anyone out with him. I even made Mario,DK, and Bowser strike out. If you want I can tell you how I do it. When you select characters you choose wario to be on your team. Then make him be you pitcher after you let your opponent bat first. Then, if the first firson stands on the left side of the base you move your joystick halfway between the bottom and the right side. then you press A rapidly and pitch. If the other teams person stands on the right side of te base, do it vice versa.
