Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Does what it does well
I have to say, question 2 for reviewing products is not all-encompassing, so I just put five stars for its "funness factor" since I have no problems with it.

Anyway, the Intec cable is a good product. I find that their accessories are always (in my experience) up-to-scratch. The cable is long enough, and the connectors function with no problems. Even though the picture shows two, there are three plugs on the cable:
USB - for connecting to your computer
data - for connecting to your PSP's data transfer port
power - for connecting to your PSP's power port for charging

I haven't had any issues with the cable per-say, but whenever I connect the PSP to the computer, I find that I have to manually go into USB connect mode on the PSP.
From the PSP's documentation, I was under the impression that the computer would automatically identify the memory stick as a "removable memory device" and go from there.
However, this isn't a problem but merely an observation.

One thing that the PSP's documentation does point out is that you may experience abnormalities/problems with using the USB feature if the "USB Charge" option is enabled. It can easily be disabled from one of the options the left-most column on the PSP menu bar.
I disabled this option since I received a charger with my PSP purchase (as should most people who bought their PSPs) and find that charging is faster when using the Adapter as opposed to through the computer's USB port.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Disappointed
This was not the cable i was looking for. The description was not very detailed.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Wrong picture, but still a good inexpensive product.
I ordered this cable to have a cheap way to sync my PSP on the road. I was rather surprised when I got a retractable cable that also includes the proper charging tip for the PSP. (Not what shown in the photo.) It's an added bonus, as the retractable plays well when you just want to throw this into a bag and take it with you, and it's nice to be able to charge the PSP on the road without bringing the whole stock charger with you. If you have anything else that uses the same size AC plug (my old Dell Axim with the dongle, for instance) you can use it, as well as using the Mini-B end to charge other accessories (most new Motorola phones, for example.) I charge both my TomTom ONE and my Motorola bluetooth headset with this cable. It's multi-use *and* indispensable.

Pros: Retractable, includes PSP charger tip, compact.

Cons: Charges slower than a wall charger (limitation of the USB port...not the design of the cable.)

Worked great with my psp and pc. To download stuff to your psp using a pc, you need this usb cable! It works great!

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Sony PSP USB Cable
I over-paid for this PSP cable. It is not unique for this device.

This is an ordinary digital camera-type USB cable with two different ends - one side is a rectangle to connect to your computer, the other is a smaller semi-hectagon (see the picture). It works fine with the PSP, and other devices like cameras, mp3 players, etc.

It is a better value to purchase the Sony Media Manager for $25, which comes with the same type of USB cable, and allows you to transfer music and video to your PSP.
