Fun game for the gameboy. It's an RPG hack and slash. There is a card system that is pretty cool but you'll find annoying later on in the game. You need moogle points to get any "good" cards. Once you hit the second world set you'll find that you need to hit up the moogle store a lot. The game play is fun but gets old quick. After you complete 1/4 of the game you'll more than likely want to stop playing for a while. The game follows a pattern along the lines of; synth world, kill monsters, synth room, kill monster, fight boss, rinse, and repeat.
Unless you're into the series I wouldn't recommend buying it. Your best bet is to rent the game because it's pretty much useless once you finish it. The constant repetition in this games take the replay value out of it.

all I have to say is I bought a gameboy SP for this game alone and the next thing I have to say is this game is Epic not as Epic as the 1 and 2 for the ps2 but it is still amazing so buy it

I think the game is good and has a great story line although, it does not beat Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2. The story line is good and is challenging but not too challenging. But if they make a Kingdom Hearts for the DS I hope the graphics are better.

Overall this game was pretty good even though it has its downsides. The story line was really good and pivotal for the Kingdom Hearts series. This game is card based fighting, and it does as good of a job as it could to keep it interesting. But it still gets pretty monotonous after a little bit. I would suggest this game if one plans on completing the entire Kingdom Hearts series, and not if one was only going to play this game.
