ok for the last review said it was the worst game cuz its originial and that there isnt a way to continue o yes there is after a game over u hold a and press start at the title screen and u will continue at the first level of the world like if u died on 7-3 and if u did that code u would be on 7-1 but overall this game rocks!!!!

Another great ninetendo classic game... I gotta say I have been waiting for this one to be available... Its one of my fave mario games... and agian like I said for the Donkey Kong game... for those of you who dont like it cause its simple... Its supposed to be... Doesnt have to hi tech to be a good game... some of the best games were the orginal ninetedo games

(...) writing this from my vacation spot on lopez island. I thought I'd check out the first mario vs bowser game, and I found that IT WAS THE BEST MARIO GAME I EVER PLAYED!!!!!!!!!!! I can see why this game lifted mario to the top of the video game tower of success. this game has goombas on almost every level(goombas are the funnest to kill in my opinion), the famous doo dee doo doo da da tune, and in every castle you fight bowser. the graphics aren't great, but it makes no difference because of the awesome gameplay. In fact, once I started playing, I couldn't stop. rent this game first if you're not sure, I guarrentee you'll be hooked.

Yeah yeah yeah retro gamers will rejoice and blah blah blah but Super Mario Bros Deluxe was way better because it was a game I could beat cause I could save.Hell I think the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt cartridge was better because on that you could at least continue.
