I bought this so I could keep my gamecube behind a glass door. It works great (as long as you don't accidently move the channel dial on the controller during play). Works just like a standard contoller sans rumble. Glad I bought it.

The wireless controllers make playing GameCube games even more fun without all the mess. You are not tied to the GameCube - you can sit wherever you want. The only thing is that it does not rumble like the one with the cords. Otherwise, they are GREAT. My daughter plays her GameCube games on her WII using the wireless controllers. It is so nice not to have cords all over the game room.

I absolutely love the wavebird wireless control for Gamecude. You're no longer confined to the 4 foot cord of the controller! I can now sit in the confort of my recliner or on the sofa and play my games, both of which are at least 19 feet from my big screen! For older guys like me - it's one of the best investments I've made.

Wavebird wireless controller is the way to go. Works just as good as wired and is just as easy to set up. Would recommend to anyone tired of tripping over cables. Well worth the investment.
