THis is a great on on game to the others in this line. Nice to get new missions and new vehicles. The speeder bike ones arent too much fun as they are a little to unforgiving. The AT-ST is a nice addition but the missions seem to easy with them, they take a lot of hits and dish out lots of firepower. The biggest flaw by far are the foot missions. This should have just been left out. They didnt take the time to make them full featured and seem more of an add on, a really annoying add on. Some of the missions are great but the foot action in between the flying ruins the overall effect. To sum up great vehicle parts but the foot missions bring it down

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike is very similiar to it's predessor in terms of it's spaceship gameplay. However, Rebel Strike incorporates new gameplay elements: ground missions, where you'll either be on foot with a blaster or in some type of vehicle such as a AT-ST Imperial Walker or a speeder bike. These new gameplay elements are mostly for the worse, however, as most of them are obviously rushed and seem to be in the game only to take up space.
The flight missions themselves are usually good, but are still greatly lacking depth, length, and anything actually 'new' compared to the other Rogue games.
The co-op mode, however, is the games' saving grace which lets you and a partner play through all the original Rogue Leader levels together, with added difficulty and enemies. On the other hand, this is only useful provided you always have someone to play with. And obviously, many people do not, and for them Rebel Strike is a rental at best. For everyone else, this is probably the one to get in the series. |3|

this is a good game for star wars fans...it is fun to play because you are either piloting a ship or fighting storm-troopers and other bad guys. I recommend that many people should have this game. alex

even if u dont like star wars(not saying i dont cuz i do) this game is intense as any flight sim you're going to find for the gamecube it is a great game to add to anyones collection if u can learn the controls which are somewhat underrated the camera angles in the 3rd person game are nothin special but the fun of throwing a thermal detonator into a crowd of storm troopers definitely makes it worth while

I love it, I love it... Rogue 3 is so cool. the only prob is that u'r on the ground too much... But still, way cool. You have new single player missions, and rogue leader double player missions. You're in x-wing, y-w, b-w, a-w, millenium falcon, JEDI STARFIGHTER, naboo fighter, slave 1, at-st, AT-AT (one level) on foot, tauntaun, speeder bike, and this new TIE, The TIE HUNTER, all new. i'd give it 10 out of 5
