This is sooooooooo fun that I play it all the time and my cusin plays it too its very fun and i can play it all the time.dont listen to people who say 1 star because there dumb. This game is very good they all the charters fighting is all good and the grafics are great buy it know or else your soul will be gone

Soul Calibur II for Game Cube is a button-mashing fighting game that is adored by non-gamers and despised by gamers. The story mode is the worst story mode of any fighter, in which you fight the same characters over and over across a long map of dungeons and areas. It is more busywork than it is fun. The moves are executed through button-mashing, with the exception of a few throws that each character has. Only my non-gamer friends like to play this game as it only involves button-mashing and not actual skill. I let them beat me at this game whenever I have parties and invite them over because to win at this game would mean I have to play this game with my entire group of non-gaming friends. Of course, I can win because my hand is something like 100 times faster than their hands or more and I, thus, can button-mash much faster than them, clobbering their characters one by one until my arms and hands are buffed out with my veins popping out. Plus, I enjoy seeing their astonished faces when they beat me because they know that I am an actual gamer. It is glorious in that they feel like that they can accomplish anything now since they accomplished such an incredible feat in beating me. My true gamer friends despise this game. All in all, Link is well-designed in 3D and can whoop any other character's butt, especially after he gets the fairy sword; however, that's not enough to keep the game interesting for gamers but non-gamers seem to adore it.

I know all about it and got almost all the characters and it is pretty easy once you get the hang of it and i am only 9 and already beat the weopon master mode once but there is a second time and at the end you have to beat INFERNO again but this time he has SOUL CALIBUR AS TALIMS AND NIGHTMARE but it is really simple if you get your own SOUL CALIBUR NOT SOUL EDGE BUT SOUL CALIBUR and the effects of SOUL CALIBUR FOR NIGHTMARE IS GAINING LIFE THROUGH ENTIRE GAME AND BAD GUARD IMPACTS. OK

Tied to Super Smash bros. Melee, this is the greatest fighting game ever created. This is one of my all time favorite games. It's a arcade-style fighting game made right, unlike cheaply made games like Mortal Kombat. Those games are perverted and suck. Soul Calibur II is a fighting-game lovers dream. Gamers say it's better or worse than the original Soul Calibur game for the Sega Dreamcast. Personely, I like this better than Soul Calibur 1 & 3. Though, I do like the Tekken series a lot, but Soul Calibur games suit me better. Out of all 3 versions (Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube), I liked the Gamecube version the best because..... DA DA DA DUM, Link (from The Legend of Zelda series) is in it. Smart move Namco! Though, I did like Spawn in the Xbox version, he has machine gun that shoots souls! Now that's cool. The graphics were pretty sweet, but what really impressed me, were the stage designs. They are so beautiful! The sound was superb, especially the charactor voices and weapon effects. The music was all classical style, but since I'm a pianist, and cellist, I don't really give a damn. The control hit me so hard, I was unconscious for a mounth. That was what made the game so damn awesome. Weapon master mode is great for gamers new to arcade-style fighting games. Weapon master mode is basicly a mode where you can play as any charactor you want, and complete various missions. You can cream your friends and know all the moves if you beat it. Plus you can unlock new characters, stages, and extra modes. There are 13 historic fighters plus all new combatants, including Necrid, who was specially designed by Todd McFarlane Productions, Inc. There are 6 other modes to play, such as Arcade, Versus, Time Attack, Survival, Team Battle, and Practice. You can collect 200 different weapons. They all have different styles and are very unique. Overall, this game should definately be in your Nintendo Gamecube collection.
