does the lastest version of AR contain cheats for resident evil 4, please also send me a list of the other games it has cheats for...

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - THIS IS NOT WHAT IS PICTURED OR DESCRIBED!!
This was purchased based on the picture and description which leads one to believe it is the older version with AR Memory dongle which allows new codes to be added. IT IS NOT! What is shipped is the newer Gamecube/Wii compatible version which does NOT ALLOW new codes to be added. It is AR disk / no dongle. BEWARE what you see is NOT what you get.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - hours of fun
The action replay was for my son and he has had alot of fun with it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - No Longer Works With the Wii
I used this to quickly play through some old GC games that I never had the chance to play before i had my Wii. I was able to get some codes into Wind Waker, but just don't have a lot of time to play games at the moment. Anyway, I decided to take some time and play Tales of Symphonia (which is a lot of fun so far), but, as I said, I don't want to spend hours and hours getting levels, moneies, etc., so I was going to pull out my good ol' Action Replay. However, since the latest update, it no longer works.

I'm sure this is to prevent people from playing illegal ROMs (I'll play those on my PC anyway ;) ), but it's also ruining things for those of us who bought our games legitimately. This is ridiculous. I'm going to be much more unlikely to buy any more GC games that would have probably sat unplayed w/o an AR for lack of time.

I was really happy with my Wii and with Nintendo on the whole until this move. No, not selling my Wii, but this is a greedy move to prevent people from playing ROMs that they probably won't buy on VC anyway. I tried to get some of those SD loaders to work, and it's a big pain! You have to have a computer to get it working right, so I don't *need* to get SDLoad to work in order to play ROMs... it would have just been a neat trick. Hackers will hack around it, the rest of us weren't going to use it for anything illegal, anyway.

Dumb move.
