This is one of the best pokemon games I own (which is a lot). Pokemon Sapphire let's you choose to be a boy or girl and you choose your own starter pokemon. THe choices are Treeko (grass), Torchic (fire), or Mudkip (water). All of them are awesome although I started out with Torchic.
Pokemon Sapphire also has a 2-on-2 battle mode. Fighting with 2 pokemon can be lots of fun.
The graphics are much better than the other pokemon games.
Another cool feature that I like is the new attacks. They are simply awesome! Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut are some of my favorite attacks in the game.

Cons:
-Can't trade with Red/Bluee/Yellow/Gold/Silver/Crystal

Pokemon sapphire is a lot of fun after your pokemon get strong.The game will make you take chances like like picking a new attack for a pokemon if you already have 4 because you can only have 4 attacks.If you like adventure games or the other pokemon games you will love this one.

really there is no difference in the versions of pokemon except that there is different pokemon in each one and somtimes there are different characters. also the covers. so I don't really mind playing ether one, both are good for me.

The game have exelent graphics, very good sound, and terrific pokemons to catch. The only bad thing about the game is that you cannot catch pokemons like groundon, ho-oh, jirichi, deoxys, motres, zapdos, articuno, and other pokemons in the old versions and pokemon fire red and pokemon leaf green, unlike pokemon colloseum.

This game rules. With new pokemon, you don't know what they're going to look like or who they'll evolve into. It didn't get the 5th star because I kind of missed the old Pokemon. I mean, c'mon...Where's Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and the gang? Oh well, the game still dominates in my opinion. With over 150 new pokemon it's all good..and there's still a few oldies like Tentacruel.
Gameplay - Just all like all the previous Pokemon games, you go see the pokemon professor, and he gives you a pokemon and you go travel around collecting more and fighting gym leaders and such. Only thing is, in this one, you don't have an enemy like you did in others. Nope, no Gary this time. This time, you have a little friend (the daughter of the professor), who is also a pokemon trainer and you run into her a few times throughout the game and you battle and whatnot but you're good friends.
Graphics - 100000 times better than previous pokemon games. With the bigger screen on the GBA everything is much clearer and A LOT more colorful. Quite good.
Sound - New theme song! Woo!
Over all, 4/5 stars. If you liked the other Pokemon games, you'll enjoy this one a thousand times over. GO BUY IT! :-)
