Do not trust madcatz memory card! It may seem like a good choice at first because it is cheaper, but this is one of those rare times that u should pay more for the brand name. I know because i had to suffer at its hands! *wipe a tear* I should have been warry of it when i discovered some memory from a different game on it when it was fresh out of the package, but i wasn't. Foolishly, I moved almost all of my games' memory onto this card, big mistake! Then when i tried to play one, the system told me the memory was corrupt and I checked the other games on it and the majority of them had become corrupt! I lost years worth of memory because of that memory card! It even had a guarantee not to lose memory, HA! LIARS! Supposedly you get a bonus free case, this would be great except you wouldn't need the case if it had just matched the standard memory card size, then it would fit in the memory card holder, located in every game's case. Its a miracle that I did not put "super smash brothers melee" onto it or I would be suicidal. The only purpose of this memory card is to retain memory and it can't do it! buy the safer nintendo brand memory cards for an extra few bucks, you'll save yourself a lot of heart-ache, you can get your money back, but there's a lot more effort to get your memory back!

Stay away from anything other than Nintendo. I just lost years worth of data when the card failed!

I was one of those stubborn people that thought a memory card was just another memory card, but no longer. I just got Res Evil 4 like 3 weeks ago, and I picked up this Mem card from Target for $9.00 and a controller for $14.00 I think. The controller is great, but this memory card has already corrupt data. My friend told me not to mess with Madcatz......ohhhhhh why didn't I listen. We are racing to see who can beat the game first and now he has a big head start.

This card is great, it holds all my game info. i just dont know what i would do without it. probably have to start my game from start all the time.

Although some may prefer the 1st parts grea than the 3rd party, I'd rather spend less money and get more band for my buck. The 4x card holds alot of data. Much more than the 251 and the 59 memory card produced by Nintendo. Infact, it makes saving game data from games like Madden and NBA 2k3 much easier. Also, some may worrie that the game data might got lost, but it hasn't happened to me yet. I would have given this card 5 stars, but there is another card produced by Mad Catz that is 16X the space of a normal card. This card is the creme of te crop. It holds roughly 8 megabytes of data. Also, it's only five bucks more than the 4x version. If you can't get this one, buy the 4x Mad Cats card.
