Once you start this game you can't stop! It starts off easy but every level is harder and harder. It has a great mix of combat, adventure, and strategy. The only downer is once you finish the game it becomes useless but the pleasure i had before i beat the game was big so I advise you all to buy this game!

It's good and all but when you're fighting SharpClaws you can only use 2 buttons. Also, the game is a little strange. You help all these dinosaurs get freed from the SharpClaws inprisonment. Plus, Prince Tricky (Fox Mclouds' new sidekick) can get really annoying. Saying "wait up" when he's right next to you he's a haunt. I would not recommend this game to first time gamers.

Starfox Adventures is more or less a sequel to "Starfox 64" on the N64. As far as games go Starfox Adventures good qualities really stand out. But the bad also stands out in this too.
The graphics are awesome! Quite possibly some of the best the Gamecube has. The fur on Fox looks real and the environments are really decorated. Best of all, there is nothing that slows the action and gameplay down.
The music in this game is a nice treat, though not as good as the N64 version. The music definitely gives you the feel of exploration but the truth is, it just isn't pleasing to the ear. The voice acting is outstanding! The voice acting and the dino language are great! You'll be impressed at the different moods and tones the voice actors can give off. Sound effects are also some of the best I've ever heard.
The gameplay has a very different sort of feel. Starfox is usually a sort of "Space-shooter" game. Adventures is just that, an adventure. So you'll be on foot. That's not to say you won't fly. You'll still fly, but there isn't that much of it. Before each Arwing mission you'll need a certain amount of Fuel Cells which are scattered throughout the overworld.
Battling in the game is quite fun. Fox can pick up a staff and excecute several combos, and he can use elements such as fire and ice with the staff. The controls take a moment to get used to at first but there's a control pad in the upper right hand corner of the screen to help you out.
You also have a pet dinosaur named Tricky who is going to help you save Dinosaur Planet from the trecherous General Scales. You actually do have to be a parent to your pet. For example, in order for him to perform some of the task that he does you'll have to make sure you feed him.
What brings the gameplay down is the replay value. Some mini-games and puzzles are real mindbenders. It's fun to play through the first time but some of the frustration in other mini-games and puzzles isn't worth it. The puzzle don't present THAT big of a challenge. They're usually pretty easy to figure out, but there are too many puzzles. Nearly every room you step in has a puzzle and it takes away from the whole fun of the game and while you'll enjoy some puzzles you'll abhor others.
So while you don't fly around much, the game isn't really bad. It deserves a four for it's effort. The game is fun but somewhere along the line it losses it's replay.

This game is really fun but the only way that it's the same is you have the same characters and you spend about 1/30 of the time you play in your ship. This game has great graphics and effects and awsome diolouge, but it really isn't anything like it's little brother, Star Fox 64. Which adds an extremely intresting twist but, you space shooting gamers are gonna get your hopes up. So this is my conclusion: Nintendo, get a clue! Sequels are supposed to be different, but not as different as this game. So the main reason I chose 4 stars is because I'm one of those space gamers, except a lot more picky. So maybe you should rent it first, but this is an okay game
Pros
Awsome Battle Modes
Very Different, having to start out from scratch kinda gives you a challenge
Cons
Very easy to beat after 10 minutes
Not anything like Star Fox 64 (which is very annoying)

Star fox is the hottest game. The makers have you thinking of what to do next! I simply loved the puzzles, the music, the graphics, and everything about it. I read about the gamer that said it was frustratingly boring, that kid needs to lighten up!Every Sunday I played it for at LEAST 4 hours! AT LEAST! Why is it players cgoice if it stinks. You will love it if you have a brain.
