They've taken a classic and totally revamped it. And I must say it's hard to sleep at night. This is the scariest game of all time. Anyone that says different is probably too worried that there man-hood is at stake saying any different. Get it, especially cause its so cheap now.And when your finished, get the Resident Evil 4 which to me is just as good. A gaming classic at it's best!

Hey I just like to say that a resident evil 3 remake would be fantastic! Fighting off the nemesis in a new world basically and a more realistic world!

Resident Evil for the Nintendo Gamecube is a remake of the classic Playstation game. The game has not changed one bit. Same story, character ect. But there is one minor change....THE VISUALS and some more! The game has boosted up the gamecubes visuals and the game looks fantastic.
The visuals are mind blowing and put some Xbox games to shame. The game has not only changed with visuals but the remake also has way better voice acting then the crappy Ps classic. There has also bin some things added to the Remake which gives the game a better lengh.
The game has some really new features like new places to explore, better looking cutscene, more gore, and an added Boss fight that's not seen in the ps1 classic. The game stars of with you getting the choice to choose between Christ Redfield or Jill Valentine. Both of these characters have the same storyline just different scenarios inbetween. The game just like any other Survival Horror game includes lots and lots of Puzzle solving and some of these puzzles will really make you think. The action is slow paced which is a big con I had with this game. The controls were a bit clunky too. But that doesn't dissapoint you from enjoying the game....acctually it does but I won't get into that.
This game not only has all the fantastic features I just named but it also shows that the Nintendo Gamecube isn't just a kiddies system. This game has some really creepy elements and something new added to the RE series is the Crimizen Heads..They are resurected Zombies but more evil and more tougher and vicouse and harder to kill. Also the game packs a chuck full of extra suprises once you beat it. The game has a great replay value especially since this game has 12 different endings total.
The good
-Fantastic visuals that boost up the GC's capablity and hardware
-great boss battles and added boss battles
-Superb cutscenes and new Cinematics in the game
-the fear factor is really high!
-Added rooms and more puzzles to keep you thinking.
-Everything about this game is screaming terror
-high replay value
-A total of 12 endings should you keep up with this game for more then a week
Bad
-lunky Controlls
-lots of puzzles that can make you throw your controller on the ground
-Gameplay is a bit slow and not to mention the action is a bit slow too!

Overall Resident Evil remake for the Gamecube is a fantastic Gamecube classic which is far more superior then the Ps1 classic and I would choose this over the original any day.
The game has fantastic visuals, Great gameplay though a bit slow, tunns of great puzzles and great yet creepy enemies and bosses and over all is a great game and has a great storyline for both characters... In the end I give this a

As the title says this is a VERY good game IF your into survival horror, yeah SURVIVAL horror, your not going to rush into a group of zombies unloading your little amount of ammo into them only to be killed in 30 seconds, anyway it's awesome, the graphics are amazing, no more frames for backrounds and the great graphics make the game even creepier. The sound is also great, making the game creepier. The controls are still crappy, but their not as annoying as people make them sound. The gameplay is still the same but with a few new features but it's still fun, there's also new areas and other things, it's fun killing zombies but you have to know when to avoid battles to conserve ammo and stay alive. Overall it's a great game, don't listen to the low reviews, their probably not into the survival horror genre, but if you are get this game. NOW.
