This controler is awsome! It Responds to the cube's games greatly. The cntroler can fit any size hand and the buttons are just in all the right places. It has a stick,pad,8buttons,and has a c stick. It is light wieght and will let you feel like you are in the game.

hi my name is dan and i think of this controller as the best thing ever. its grip is perfect and its easy to use, theres not a ton of buttons to get confused by, wich makes playing games really fun. i love the black color and every thing, exept for that yellow joy stick. it makes the controller look weird cause yellow is well, yellow. yellow=no.

Although it might be a little difficult to tell just by looking at a picture of it, this controller is basically a horribly deformed PS2 controller. Sure, the buttons are different shapes and sizes, but they are in vitually the same positions, and the controller itself is almost the exact same size, shape, and weight.
The good thing about the controller is that Nintendo seems to have made a slight advantage over the PS2 controller in that it adapts to different hand sizes. This is done with more narrow (and slightly longer) grips, and bigger L & R buttons.
But that doesn't exuse the bad. I'm almost positive that the joystick and the dirrectional buttons were switched between the PS2 and the GameCube controller so that the GameCube controller looks less like the PS2. That's all well and fine, except that it makes the right and down dirrectional buttons almost impossible to reach.
With a joystick in the lower position it is much easier because your thumb pushes away the center of the control, but with buttons you have to reach all the way over. Which even for my larger hands is somewhat difficult, and definately awkward.
All in all the GameCube controller has it's advntages and disadvantages. It is more "controller" looking than the strange shaped N64 controller, and looks like it will wear out less than it's N64 brother (which breaks down and essentially becomes useless after 6 months of any type of use). But I sometimes prefer the dirrectional buttons when playing a game (especially games with special moves like Tony Hawk), and this controller makes that a little difficult.

When I first saw this controler i said "gee it sure looks comfortable" But when I started playing Wave Race BS. I only said 2 words"too little" . Hopefully this will change with 3rd party controllers. By the way Xbox's controller feels much more comfortable.
