I feel that ncaa 2k2 is a decent game for the college fanatic, it really doesnt measure up to nfl 2k1 or 2k2. The graphics are similar, which means it looks preety sweet! But there are several improvements to be made. Like the announcing. It's just horrible, too computer generated and choppy. Overall its a decent game, but if I were to buy a football game it would be nfl 2k2 or 2k1 if you dont have it already.

this is one of the best ive ever played but the problem is that its too easy. even when you put it too all american its still pretty easy. the neat things about the game is how real the football fields look, like i sometimes go to the Kansas JayHawks football games and their feild is pretty neat but on this game the field looks a whole lot a like the one in real life.
i say buy this game buty to wait for NFL 2K2.

...its disconcerting to play as Ohio State, score a touchdown, and hear "Hail to the Victors" (Michigan fight song). Apparently not every school portrayed in the game consented to allow their fight song to be used, and that takes away from the collegiate atmosphere somewhat. Another nitpicky thing--the referee calling the penalties wears a black hat, same as NFL 2K1. Otherwise, game play is similar to NFL 2K1, which I appreciate--don't have to learn a whole new control scheme. The stadiums are accurately rendered, even the smaller schools like Bowling Green, which blew me away. I recommend it for the college football fan...

How? That is all I want to know! How is it that out of me owning every console that has come out since NES, that this magical box that cost less than my NES when it came out is better than the PS2, Neo Geo, N64, Saturn ect... Not to mention that College Football 2K2 is the most realistic video game I have ever owned. Even the players are accurate, it's so amazing. Not to mention I bought CF2K2, 2 other games, the dreamcast console and an extra controller for half the price of my PS2 console itself. Just when you think Sega has [messed] up by stoping production on the Saturn and it's games, they redeem theirselves completly with this.

I waited and waited for this game and when I finally gpt it I was very dissapointed. I would have given this game a 0 out of 5 stars, but I couldn't do that. Take my advice if you want a good football game, just wait for NFL 2K2 to come out.
