Lots of people to play with but bad single player its not the best game ive ever played but its kinda close.

Alright heres the story....I was looking for a good wrestling game for my dreamcast and I found Royal Rumble, it looked pretty good so I ordered it, when I got it there is only Royal Rumble-not very fun, Exhibition- ok, and a versus mode which is probably the funnest mode in the whole game. When I started to play royal rumble every superstar ganged up on me and they only tried to get me out. On exhibition when I would try to hit them they would spin around me and from there on I had no control over them and I could not get 1 hit off on them.And it is almost impossible to get your partner to help you. Also when you go to pin them you end up running across the ring. If you're looking for a fun game to just mess around with then this might be a good game for you, but if you want a championship winning, hard hitting action type game you will probably want to go for WWE Wrestlemania x8 on GC, or Smackdown: Shut your mouth on PS2.

Really a 4 star game, but I gave the 5th star because of the low price. The action is very fast, this game has NO SLOW DOWN. Even when 10 players are in the ring at once. There are 3 modes: 1)Wrestlemania,2) Versus where you can play against up to 3 of your friends, and 3)Exhibition where you fight through 10 matches for the championship. There is no tag team matches, but you can have a cpu controled friend at ring side to help you. The controls are easy and the characters move fast. This is why I like this game more than other wrestling games for other systems. You will notice slow down on the playstation 2 version of Smackdown.

You'd be better off urinating into a tube and pouring it into your eye sockets than buying this game. This is by far the worst WWF game ever made on any format. I'm not being at all harsh, it's the truth. There are only 20 wrestlers (although you can unlock a whole two more) a lot of which are nobodies of the wrestling world. And if you still don't think it sounds that bad, here's the clincher-two modes.
Yes that's right. A pathetic two modes. Exhibition and Royal Rumble. We'll start with Exhibition. This is absolutely awful. You can't even play a proper match, it's just a Tekken style knockout thing. You can only play singles matches (except you have to pointlessly pick a manager) and all the way through the matches random wrestlers run in and help both you and your opponent then run off. If you haven't finished the match in two minutes the wrestlers look at the ceiling as the lights flash before it goes dark. Next thing you know you're in the parking lot for nine seconds of three on one action (you being the one) before being asked if you want to continue.
Now for the Royal Rumble mode. If you thought the Royal Rumble on Smackdown was stupid then you have a lot to learn. This has absolutely no connection with the Royal Rumble. In this one to end the match you have to eliminate 30 wrestlers by yourself which means it can drag on for up to half an hour. This might confuse you as I said already there's only 20 wrestlers (although you can unlock a whole two more) so how can you eliminate 30 of them? Well here's the icing on the cake - the wrestlers repeat. Over and over. 5 seconds betweern them. And here's the cherry on the cake - you can have two of the same wrestler fighting each other, which just sucks.
This is by far the biggest pile of console excrement ever fobbed off to innocent gamers. Which is a shame because the Royal Rumble it was based on was brilliant.

This game is extremely fun, there are a lot of characters to choose from (not as many as smackdown 2 just bring it, or raw is war for x-box, but still there are a lot.) The finishing moves are great, but the only problem is two things. ONe, it is way to easy to perform a finishing move, (you can be about 5 inches away fromthe guy and still perform it, 2, it is way to easy to build up your little "bar," in order to perform a finishing move, and three, Triple H does NOT do a figure 4 leg lock, and five, when he does it his leg is going through the other guys leg. Come on, no wonder its rated teen for "cartoon violence."
Over and all this game is pretty fun, but no where as good graphics, game play, and movement as Just bring it, or Raw Is War for X-box which is the best. OH, and for those people who look more aobut me ignore the review about Raw crashing. I got it fixed and now it works perfectly.
