Hey You, Pikachu is the best game ever. I love it. The voice recination is great. The 3d is awsome. It is like having your own real life Pokemon. I'm glad they picked Pikachu for it because she is my favorite. You can take pikachu all over. There are lots of games to play with her. Like name that pokemon, fishing, nature hikes, break open the pinyohta, and more! You have to feed pikachu too. Be nice to her and she will love you ,but be mean and you will get electricuted. It is an awsome game. U should buy it. Well got to go play hey you pikachu. ...

This is a great game! You can talk to Pikachu, play with Pikachu, explore with Pikachu, and even more! Pikachu is a cute, loveble friend you might love too! So if your looking for a first video game, this is the right place!

Ugh, I'm a Pokemon fan, but this game simply wasn't that much fun. Pikachu is definatly cute, and he will respond to your voice... just not very well. Most of the time I found myself telling Pikachu to pick up an apple, and he just decides to run the other way and I found myself wishing there was a button I could press so I could pick up the apple and throw it at him. The main problem I think is that your voice doesn't stream into the game; you talk into the mike while pressing Z and store your voice into a little data packet (represented by a bubble in the game) and once you release Z, it flies over to Pikachu. So it takes a good few seconds for Pikachu to actually hear your commands, and by then, it's usually wandered away somewhere else. Urg. The graphics are primitive (this was developed early in the N64's lifespan), the voices are grainy and the music is unimpressive (though the "First Day" music is actually pretty catchy) I stuck with it until about the third day in the game, then I just quit and never touched it again.
Pokemon fans might consider picking this up if they can find it cheap, if only for a few minutes of amusement, or just to complete their game collections. Fans whose ages are in the single digits will probably enjoy this game a lot more than us older fans. For us there is always Pokemon Advance...
