I am very well pleased with my recent purchase. It has been an awesome experience. My system was received quickly and without any problems. I will use again for my nintendo purchases.

NES SYSTEM ARRIVED IN WORKING CONDITION. PACKING MATERIALS WERE MINIMAL W/ JUST ONE CRUMBLED UP NEWSPAPER. GUN CONTROLLER WAS CRACKED ON THE BARREL. NEEDED TO REPAIR THAT. NES UNIT HAD STICKY GLUE RESIDUE. NEEDED TO CLEAN AND REMOVE STICKINESS.
GAME UNIT WAS PRODUCT ADVERTISED. ARRIVED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Buying an old NES allowed me to play some classic games (Mario). It is true you can play the same games on emulators but nothing beats the original system with the original controllers. There are plenty of ways (use amazon.com) to obtain old game classics. My only caution is that the game cartridges used a battery in order to save your game state. Well, the battery was not intended to last more than five years which means most of the games you purchase will not allow you to save. There is an easy workaround - don't turn the machine off. You will without a doubt enjoy the machine and if you are old enough to remember actually playing games on the NES you know the pace, and fun of many of these games beat's many of today's games.

SHOULD YOU BUY AN ORIGINAL SYSTEM VERSUS A FAMICON KNOCK-OFF IN MY OPINION YOU SHOULD BUY THE ORIGINAL IM A ENGINEER AND I'VE BEEN WORKING AROUND THESE SYSTEMS FOR 20+ YEARS THEY ARE VERY TEMPERMENTAL BUT IF PROPERLY CARED FOR CAN GO ON WORKING FOR YEARS I HAVE TWO SYSTEMS WE PURCHASED IN 1985 AND THEY ARE STILL MINT WITH A FEW MODIFICATIONS LIKE PIN CONNECTORS BECAUSE IF YOUR PINS ARE DIRTY YOUR GAMES WILL NOT WORK

A lot of people rag on the yobo NES knock off, but for the price it's just fine. I just bought one and while it is cheap and looks more likethe Famicom than the NES from the US, it plays the same and I really enjoy mine. If you're not buying one for some weird emotional value, the knock-off is just fine and actually has less problems than my original did when I was a child.
