Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This is the best Zelda Game ever :)
This Game is amaizing, I first played it in 1990, and didnt master the game untill this year 2004!! I took a loooooong break from it then started to play it for full. The graphic is very good considering its on Nintendo 8 bits, and the challange is amazing. Sure its difficult but thats why its so fun. The Palaces are amaizing especially the last one and 5 one. You go in cities to ask for help then u must find different things to go futher into the game. Its very logic. I dont like any of the other Zelda games, I wish they were more like this one.

I recommend u to try to download it or buy it(if u still have Nintendo 8 bits).

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Zelda Returns!!!!
Zelda returns!!!! By an 8 year old Zelda fanatic. YOU REALLY HALF TO PLAY THIS WONDERFUL GAME. Yeah yeah most people think this NES game is totally side scrolling like Mario however it's not.
The map is top scrolling :) One side scroller I hate is Star wars Episode 2 attack of the clones. Also some other good games that I would recommend ER disaster strikes, San Francisco rush2049, shadow of the empire, Jedi Power battles, and of coarse the legend of Zelda.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - What is this?!?
I am a huge zelda fan, I have beaten every game in the series except for this one. I have tried multiple times and can not play for more than an hour. This is bar-none the worst game I have ever played...for any console...ever. I love the NES and the Zelda series is the best ever, but who came up with this game? The bottom line is, this game is nothing like the rest of the series...so you must judge it for what it is...which is trash. I hate this game.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Legends of Zelda II: Adventures of li a pretty awesome game
I agree with Der Kommissar It is very much unlike the other games in the series but still is pretty darn fun. I mean its hard some points in the game, like you have to get to a certain amount of health and it takes a lot of battles. And in the caves you cannot see so it is pretty hard to fight.

I suggest for training yourself go into the desert and get caught by a goblin. its kinda hard but fun.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Link+Sidescroller=Zelda?
I got Zelda II a couple of days ago and felt it out. There are two parts to it: exploring Hyrule in overhead and going into buildings and towns in side view. In overhead view, you cannot use your sword. You must explore but when you see the blackish baddies pop up and you walk into them, you will battle enemies in side view. The towns are the same as well. The good thing is there are a few people but the towns have an amazing resemblance of the NES version of Mario's Time Machine. What turns me off is the palaces are also 2-D! What happened to the freedom of Zelda I? And it's another Zelda is in trouble story only she is cursed and put to sleep. One relief: no having to go to stores and no collecting rupees! All items can be found by townspeople and palaces. This game is very challenging but lacks the pleasure of Zelda I and A Link to the Past. You really have to explore to get the job done. The music starts identical to the original Zelda score but quickly changes to a new them song. If you ask me, this reminds me of Super Mario 3 but a little more innovative.
