Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The last great Mega Man game...
In Mega Man IV, Mega Man fights a new adversary named Dr. Cossack and finds out that Wily is pulling the strings. This game is hit hard by a lot of Mega Man fans, but they are the ones that are close-minded. This game, people, is the last great Mega Man game. Read on to see why, even if you're a little bullheaded not too realize it:

THE GOOD
Mega Man's back with Rush and you fight eight new robotmasters and is equipped with a new "megabuster." This has been changed later on, but this is one of the games where it functioned the best. The storyline is a refreshing change from the previous games, even if it's been ripped off later on. You also get two items in addition to your other inventory, the Balloon Adaptor and the Wire Adaptor (why was this ignored in later games?!). The music is great and it connects well with the other games (except 3, but oh well).

THE BAD
Umm... hmmm... bad? Let's see... Proto Man appears once. That's the only bad. Don't agree? Bite me.

OVERALL
CLASSIC, CLASSIC, CLASSIC! A great NES game with great amount of fun involved. This is the last truly great Mega Man game, as the next batch of games would go a little downhill. This is another Mega Man game I grew up with and it's still one of my favorites, if not my all-time favorite (see my Mega Man III review). Any true NES fan SHOULD NOT ignore this masterpiece.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Unlike 2 and 3, this one's TOUGH!
Mega Man 2 and 3. Both great games but a tad too easy. Now, a new enemy, Dr. Cossack, is present, filling Wily's shoes as chief villain (or is he?) Cossack's robot leaders are, for the most part, far superior to Wily's. The stages leading to them are far more difficult as well. But you won't be without help on this adventure. Your plasma cannon can now be charged to blast shots 3X as powerful as standard ones! There's also Balloon and Wire adaptors! The Rush Jet is back here, but it loses the precision control it had in 3 =( Dr. Cossack's fortress is no laughing matter either, whipping out tough levels with tough bosses and limited restart points. Once you defeat the Doc's machine, you'll discover an eviler villain has been controlling him! This newer, darker villain confronts Mega Man, taunting him with an extremely funny insult. He then leads Mega Man to a new fortress. Who's the REAL villain here? Take a guess, and there's about a 99% chance it'll be a right one. Not the best Mega Man for the NES, but still worth trying.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best mega man game
Mega Man 4, the first to feature the "mega-buster", was where the series reached it's zenith. The 8 bosses are some of the best they've had, none being extremly hard and none being too simple. And the stages they occupied were the best in the series, espeically Pharoah Mans stage.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Megaman 5
Megaman 5 follows the same steps as the others,8 robots.guys like stone man and wave man.a must have for all megaman fans.
