Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Pokemon Stadium
Pokemon Stadium is a pretty good game, but a person will lose interest after awhile. It is nice to have some tournements and prizes for winning the tournements in the game. The game has an option where a person game play pokemon version red, blue, or yellow at triple the speed if a person completes certain things. This game is pretty good, but it gets boring.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A new era for Pokemon!
Making their first 3D battle apperence on the 64, it's Pokemon Stadium! Import your pokemon from Red, Blue, or Yellow and duke em' out against the computers', or other friends' pokemon. Battle gym leaders to see if your one of the best! But if battling isn't your gig, go to the mini game section. Even if you don't like pokemon, this is fun to play regardless. One of the best features is Gameboy tower, were you can load up your red, blue, or yellow, and play your gameboy right on your T.V.! But the sad thing is because of Pokemon stadium 2, this one is pretty much "old" to standerds. but if you're looking to save a few bucks, then buy this one!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wait!!! Read This Before Buying!!!
Okay, now that I've got your attention, you have to listen to this. Pokemon Stadium is WONDERFUL, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, and ADDICTIVE, but POKEMON STADIUM 2 is BETTER. It has everything that this one has (I own this one, and just bought PKMNS2) and more, including 100 more pokemon, 12 minigames (instead of 9), and the capacity to play ALL Pokemon Game Boy games on your TV, with a cool border, even G&S. Lookup Pokemon Stadium 2 and buy it. It is more, but has twice the stuff. Great buy. If you have PKMNS2, and want this one, then go ahead. This game rocks.

What a great Nintendo game! My dad bought me this for Christmas last year, and I love it!

One of the best things is that they actually give you a Transfer Pak along with the game, whether you bought it or rented it. Or at least, that's how it is in my experience.

Anyhow, back to the game. Can't be bothered making a team of Pokémon before the battle? Then choose Battle Now! You can battle against the computer or a friend with a premade Pokémon team. Quite challenging, especially as both players get a balanced team to begin with, then there's the fact that you won't know which Pokémon the other trainer will use first. Yikes! I must say, this is one of the least used features on my game pak, I don't really like it that much. I like the fun of making a balanced team for myself, my best combination is Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Pikachu, Pigeotto and Gengar.

Kids Club is my all time fav section of the game. 9 mini games each focus on a different character, for example Dig! Dig! Dig! features 4 Sandshrews.

Event has 4 or was it 3 battle levels for 1 person. Each one has level restrictions, except for the Prime Cup, which is for levels 1-100. I usually compete in the Poké Cup Poké Ball division myself, I've only gotten up to the 6th trainer out of 8, no further.

Gym Leader Castle is another favourite of mine. Battle your way through all 8 Gym Leaders all the way to the top of Gym Leader Castle, where you battle the Dark Masters. Oops! Wrong anime! I meant the Pokémon Masters. I'm still having trouble at Misty's gym near the bottom of the castle.

Prof. Oak's Lab. I've never been in here, the only Gameboy Games I own are Pokémon Gold, Silver and Trading Card Game.

I haven't set foot in GB Tower either, unfortunately.

Well, I think I've covered all of the features of Pokémon Stadium. It's a must-have for the ultimate Pokémaniac.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A Non-Pokemon fan is hooked
Pokemon Stadium for the Nintendo 64 is a surprisingly good adaptation to the ever-growing Pokemon family. The graphics are good, and avoid being constantly the same through brilliant camera angles. The game is easy to just pick up and play, the controls are very simple. Even a non-fan like myself can play well without any Pokemon experience. Sadly, there are no four-way battles, but multiplayer still rocks. You can't use the game with Gold, Silver or Yellow and I can understand why that would be annoying. Stadium 2 will be out soon though, and if it's anything like the original, there could be another hit on the horizon.
