- King of the RingI just recently found this game while digging around in my attic. As I recall it was quite good. So, I dust off and hook up my Super NES, and pop the game in. Wow! This simulation of basketball stands up well even today. It's realistic too - a bunch of different things can happen, depending on your player's stats. It's extremely thrilling to lob the ball "from the outside" before the buzzer, and actually score 3 points! However this is one tough mutha' of a game. It seems as though the other team is always smarter than the computer AI your paired with, and catching up with some players is near impossible. But the Head-to-Head mode is fantastically flawless, as you can show your friend who is king of the ring. All in all, a stone cold sports classic. Wait.... I'm saying this and I don't even like sports games.... (sigh) oh well.
