Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I've loved it since 1999
I got this game in 1999 and it's really fun. I'm still playing it to this very day. You get so into the game that it never gets boring. The only thing I don't like is that stupid evil boss fromm level 3(damn you Jerk-In-The-Box!!!!!!!!) But overall=5 stars!!!!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Yeah
As you probably know, Nintendo depends on their Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and all the other stupid characters. Those are the only N64 and Gamecube platformers. Nintendo people are obviously on drugs when they make video games. Here's a monkey. Oh, let's say some weird little thing steals this other monkey! Oh , yeah. That's how the game was created.

Nintendo games are creative, but sometimes overly so. In Yoshi's Story, play a few minutes and you'll obviously know that it was marketed to 5-year-olds. Now to the game, it's DUMB. There's not one aspect of it that's fun. You run around being some fat blob of monkey trying to get "Golden Bananas" that are a obvious ripoff of Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie. Just signals they're out of ideas. This has gotten rave reviews from just about anybody that has played it and I have no friggin idea why. It's just dumb and so is Nintendo. Nintendo Revolution? *rolls eyes* It will revolutionize bad gaming.

LOCAL CRAZY MONKEY

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - DK64 - Oh-plah!
I think this is one of the best N64 games ever, especially if you prefer longer games, less gory content, and ever-popular monkey cuteness. This one ranks right up there with Mario Kart 64, but sadly, there is basically no multiplayer content. I mean, there is, but there isn't (you know what I mean?).
The characters are super fun. Who couldn't love Lanky Kong simply on the basis of his sounds?
I think this is an extremely kid-friendly game, seeing as how you never get "game over." It takes some patience to collect all those keys and bananas and fairies and coins and crowns and medals... but it's worth it.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Sad for being Donkey Kong
I thought this game was going to be fun. I gave it 2 stars because the graphics where ok but it is hard to know where you are going. This game is confusing. Maybe it is for 12 year olds because my little sister could play it better than me. MARIO RULES!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Desperately Seeking Sequel!
This game has been tied with Super Smash Bros. Melee as my favorite video game EVER. I loved the graphics, even if they were a bit on the rudimentary side, but they weren't the worst graphics in the world. (Super Smash Bros. for N64 carries that title.) Here are the pros and cons:

PROS:
The voice acting is funny.
The music is great (even the DK rap, and I HATE rap, but this one grew on me).
Three new Kongs: Tiny, Lanky, and Chunky!
The bosses are fairly easy (except for Boss number 3.
I HATE HIM SO MUCH!!!!)
One of the new items is a "Crystal Coconut", which possibly pays homage to the TV show (which I think is GREAT).
It's fun just to explore the levels even after you've beaten them.

CONS:
You have to beat Donkey Kong Arcade twice in order to progress (and it gets harder the second time. ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!)
The third boss is SO VERY HARD. It took me several months to defeat the guy, but fortunately I could get progress in the game anyway. Yippee!

This game is most definitely worth the cost, but you might want to find it at GameStop or someplace like that. I got it for seven bucks and it worked like it was new! ^_^
