Battletanx is a great game.....u have these tanks that r eather fast but little fire power, slow and large power. or barely moving to unbeatable power. this game has a great adventure mode....i used cheats after i beat it a couple of times like the all weapons cheat. with that cheat you can set up unlitimted gun buddies to blow evry1 up to reallly help you... or do the job for you. Battletanx has great 2d graphics and a great camera view. You can light other tanx on fire with a flamethrower tank...or u can use the goliath for running over the little fast tanx. you can use the little fast tanx as a camoflauge while u r in a tight spot and u can make a mine wall that r outside of the shed where the tanx come out of so u blow them up ammidiatly. This is a non-stop fun game and i will never let go of it. N64 is a great system which should not be stopped selling games.

I rented this game from blockbuster and hated it. I played it for about three minutes then turned it off. The graphics are pukey, the controls are pukey, the sound is pukey, and everything around it is pukey. Don't rent it, don't buy it. Thank You.

If your kids are gamers and you want to find a game that you can play together check this one out. It's easy - no complicated button pushing sequences - just point and shoot! It's fun, you drive around in tanks, blow up enemy vehicles and rescue people. No graphic violence - in fact I would call it rather tame compared to many of the games out there. Video games are here to stay so if you want to spend some time with your kids in "their" world - try this game.

The date of the production of this review is 19 Aug 2002, which means that i'm up-to-date on newer systems, like the PS2. However, I wanted to buy an N64 from my friend for a few games, and this game was one of them. It's fun for those of you who don't have multitaps or are sick of the multiplayer games on other systems. It's fun to play on single player as well, so if you have your old N64, or are gonna buy one for kicks, and need something entertaining to do after school (and like destroying things and whooping your pals) then I'd recommend this game.
