This is a great game with many characters: Tony hawk, ChadMuska, Elissa Steamer, Bob Bunquist, and more. So many moves: Flip, variel, ... and all types of grabs and grinds. Many courses: warehouse, school, mall, downhill jam, San Francisco, area 51, and 2 skate parks.A very interesting, fun, interactive, and even a little realistic game all in one. The only disavantage is that playing too long hurts your thumb. END

Now, even though this review is being shown for the N64 version of the game, i think, I will talk about the best version - the Playstation version. The control is intuitive and easy to master, the trick combos are endless, and the replay value is infinite. The levels are huge and well designed, just about everything is accessible. I love goin to the roof and gym of the school, and I lvoe climbing the buildings in streets. I've had the game for about a year and it is still incredibly fun. Competing with friends is the best, you can use the three diferrent multiplayer modes, but I invented my own game. The only problem is that your fingers start hurting after extended sessions of play, but the problem is solved by the forming calloses. My fingers are pretty much indestructable now, Thanks THPS! My only problems with the N64 version is that the graphics arent as sharp. They are a little blurred, and like the dreamcast version, suffer in the way of controls. But you can get used to them and still enjoy yourself until the sequel. Do yourself a favor and buy this game, but if you have a dreamcast or playstation buy one of those versions. (The playstation version is the best)

The greatest game ti ever come to the Nintendo 64. I've played the Playstation version of it and I own the N64 version. I prefer the psx version, because the sound is better. But the n64 version is much easier to control. I gave it four stars because sometimes in multi-player, it feels kinda weird and the game slows down a little bit, but It won't bother you. I've had this game since April 2000. And I still play it! It just feels so good to go there and pull of a combo. This is my second favorite game, close behind Madden 2000!

The game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is the best game for nintendo 64, even if you don't like skateboarding. My sister who never even heard of Tony Hawk spent hours playing this game.

This has got to be one of the best games ever for the N64. The graphics are incredible. It's got an awesome soundtrack (the soundrack is also a lot better for younger gamers than the Playstation version bcause it doesn't have any swear words in the lyrics). And, something most people don't know about, this game is filled with codes and secrets (sorry, but you'll have to figure those out by yourself). If you already have Super Smash Bros (which is the BEST GAME EVER MADE!) then by all means by Tony Hawk's Pro Skater! (By the way, a great place to find codes for this game is the Code Bank ...)
